eden woke up a few hours later with a pounding headache and hunger.
she looked around for something to drink, as she was thirsty, but there was nothing there.
"ugh." she groaned.
there was a knock at the door.
"edes? you awake?"
it was lily.
"unfortunately."
lily opened the door and came in the room with steven behind her.
"hey, edie."
"hey, steve-o."
he bent down and kissed her before crawling in bed next to her. lily sat on the edge of the bed with a dish of pizza in her hand.
"here, girl. this'll deeeeffffinitely help." lily said and handed eden the plate.
she took it and lifted the pizza into her mouth, moaning as she swallowed it.
"good, huh?" lily nodded with raised eyebrows and a smile.
"mhm." eden nodded back.
she swallowed again and looked between her boyfriend and best friend.
"does my mom hate me for causing her to fall?" she asked.
"no, but her and laurel got into an argument and laurel stormed out." lily answered.
"and shayla knows about us at the party." steven added, looking down.
eden put the pizza she was about to take a bite out of back in the plate.
