The whole class went into frenzy when the chemistry teacher left the class. I brought out my mobile phone to keep myself busy since there wasn't anything I had to do at that time

I had chatted Henry to confirm if he was really coming back and he had responded in the positive. It's really heartbreaking that I can do nothing to help Giselle out of this mess

The bell for break time rang in no second. I hastily pocketed my phone in my blazer and decided to head for the cafeteria

Call me foodie but I had had nothing to eat Since morning. All thanks to Almighty Mrs Ogbeide who ruined my appetite

The cafeteria was filled with students as I expected. I ordered my food, carried it on a tray and proceeded to look for any available table I could stay. I passed by Giselle's table in which she was seated with Jewel

But Stephanie talks more. Speaking about Stephanie, we hadn't talked since that Saturday as she wasn't online throughout yesterday being Sunday. I sat down comfortably on my chair as I already found a table and began to eat my food hurriedly

My head was bent low in the process of eating as I wasn't looking up from my food.

I slowly dropped my spoon on my tray and raised my head slowly and slowly to meet the eyes of Stephanie gazing intently at me

A part of my brain got excited to see her. But then it quickly jumped into reality. Then depression followed for daring to think she would even be interested in reciprocating my feelings

I managed to find my voice "Hey wassup"

"I'm fineeee. Vincent and Ifeanyi were beginning to bore me with their silly guys stories _ She pointed at their table where Vincent and Ifeanyi were seated engrossed in their discussion.

"_So I decided to head back to the class. I saw you, and decided to come say hello" She chatted with smiles plastered on her face as she comfortably sat down on the chair facing me

And she met me eating hurriedly like a mad dog. God abeg

"Ohh! That's kind of you though"

I didn't know what was wrong with me but I just ran out of things to say.

"Okay I have something to ask you. But promise you won't tell anyone" Stephanie cut me off my thoughts as she peered at me with puppy eyes

"Okayyyy? What is it"

She shifted her chair closer to me and looked around her in conspiracy

"Promise me you won't tell anyone first of all"

"Okay fine. I promise" I was so eager to hear what she had to ask me. She shifted closer to me again and widened her eyes

"My question is_ She looked around her again

I'm beginning to get scared right now. What does she want to ask_

"_Are you a foodie? You love food so much right? She finished with a wiggle of her eyebrows
