Looking in the mirror,
A reflection I hate,
A face that reminds me,
Of pain and despair.
A body,
I cannot stand,
Something I avoid,
To escape the sight.
A reflection,
A reminder, of something I cannot bear,
Of the scars that I cannot hide,
And the hurt that cannot heal.
A reflection of myself, as I am,
A face that haunts me every day,
The shame of it all,
The pain within me stays.

Please don't beat yourself up over not living up to certain standards. If someone tells you to look different, ignore them. They don't know whay they're talking about. You are perfect the way you are. Nobody should change you.
