Longing to be someone else,
A life I wish I could live.
A different face, a different life,
A life that's full and complete.
Longing to be anyone but me,
Wishing I were someone else.
A life of happiness instead,
The one I want to have.
But here I am, myself instead,
And with myself I must abide.
