Chapter 2

Luke's POV

I'm in the hallway waiting for Julie to come out of her room to go to the garage and tell the guys what just happened. She was taking sooooo long I mean how long does it take to change and walk out? When she finally did she was in a pink top and some black boots and her favorite pair or jeans with patches. She looks so cute- wait no, Luke snap out of it.

(This is her outfit)

"Hello?" Julie said snapping her fingers in my face, "Earth to Luke"

"Yeah?" I say standing up from my position of leaning on the wall

"I'm ready let's go," Julie said, "You were staring I know I'm beautiful but not that beautiful,"

"Agree to disagree," I mumble under my breath, "I was just thinking,"

"About?" She asked walking towards the garage

"Just this whole other people being able to see us kind of thing," I explained walking beside her, "It's cool, don't get me wrong, but why?"

"Geez Luke I thought you were the cool one but right now you're starting to sound like Alex," She jokes as we walk into the garage

We walk in and they are still sleeping on the ground I move forward to wake them up but Julie pulls me back. She was right. I'm never going to get used to being able to touch her after so long.

"What are you doing let me wake them up," I tell her

"I have a better idea," she says pointing to the instruments. I smirk at the thought of what we were about to do. I walk over to my guitar putting the volume on 10 waiting for Julie to start playing. She walks over to the piano sitting down and playing Edge of Great.

"Running from the past

We all get a second act inside of us" she sang and I jumped in

We sang the next verse together. This time Julie doesn't ignore me. She walks over and we sang at her mic. All I can think is how cute she looks singing she's so happy.

I walk over to her playing that riff I played that day to get to look at me and she smiles.

I walk over and sit next to her singing out last line together. Looking into her eyes I realized I never want to stop making music with her. I love her. Wait, I LOVE JULIE! I can't ever tell her that. What if she doesn't like me and we're not even friends anymore. I love making music with her and I'll cherish that. It's not like we'll ever be in a relationship.

This time instead of like our shows I stay right there next to her. My eyes flick down to her lips. Oh how badly I want to kiss her. I smile and get up holding a hand out for her to join me in a bow. We've successfully woken up Alex and Reggie and they are clapping for us.

"I still don't know why he's denying the chemistry between them," Alex whispered to Reggie to which he shrugs

"That was the best alarm clock," Reggie says walking over, "You guys should always do that,"

Julie laughs and said, "Well the next time we do this it won't be as nice,"

I move over to Julie and put my arm around her shoulder, "Alex, Reggie sit me and Julie have something to tell you,"

They move over to the couch with knowing looks on their faces excited for the news we were about to tell them. I sigh I knew exactly what they were thinking. Julie and I sit on my couch as they sit on the ground in the exact places they were sleeping.

"So, we think tha-" Julie started

"Y'all are dating-" Reggie shouted, before Alex slapped his hand over his mouth.

"Wha- who told you that" I said getting flustered

"Ahem," Julie said clearly blushing, "Umm, like I was saying I think that other people can see yall other than me,"

"WHAT? HOW? WHY?" Alex says standing up startling Reggie who fell off Luke's couch,

"Ah now I see it," I whisper into Julie's ear making her giggle, I smile.

"I know you guys have a lot of questions Luke will explain why later but right now I've invited Flynn over so prove our theory," Julie explains

We all look at each other with a worried look was it a fluke Carlos saw me? I guess we'll find out when Flynn gets here.
