Reggie's POV
I sat in the garage throwing a ball at the wall and catching it. I was so bored. Both Luke and Alex are gone and Julie is at school. Ugh I hated boredom. I watched and waited for what felt like hours. I've had enough so I decided to go outside and explore. I poofed out the door and stood on the driveway. I looked at the front door and saw Flynn standing there waiting for Julie.
"Hmm I wonder what's she doing here," I asked aloud
"Huh? Who said that," She asked whipping her head around
"Oh uh Reggie," I said ignoring my first intention to hide
"Oh uh Reggie?" She asked still searching the sky
"Down here Flynn," I instructed as she looked down and squinting her eyes in my direction
"Oh Hi!" She said waving
"Hi, what are you doing here," I asked walking towards her
"Waiting for Julie to come down, we hanging out at my house and she's taking too long," She complained looking down at her wrist for an invisible watch, then pulling out her phone (I think that's what it's called) to look at the actual time, "Ugh could she move any slower,"
"Yes, yes I can," Julie said walking out right on cue
"Hi Julie!" I said waving
"Hey Reggie I heard you and Flynn talking," She said giving Flynn a look which turned her cheeks red
"Well we we're talking about you and how slow you move," I said
"Well I know that I heard you," Julie said rolling her eyes, "Come one Flynn let's go,"
"Okay bye Reggie!" Flynn called out as Julie dragged her away
"Bye!!" I said waving back
She looks very pretty in the sunligh- I mean uh ahem. I don't know why I felt the urge to say that. I watched as they walked off together still slightly dumbfounded that I was able to talk to her. Wait...I TALKED TO A LIFER!! How is this possible I mean I get how she can sense where we are but I just had a whole conversation with her. This makes no sense. Forget being able to explore I just had a conversation with a lifer thats crazy. I guess Julie read my mind because she dragged Flynn back yelling.
"How the heck did you two just have a conversation," Julie exclaimed
"I don't know I was wondering the same thing," I said
"What the heck," Julie mumbled under her breath, "Where are the rest of the guys?"
"I don't know? They left a long time ago and neither of them have returned," I said
"WHAT?!" she yelled, "Come on we're going to go find them,"
She grabbed my wrist and Flynn's and walked towards the exit. Just then Luke poofed right in front of her causing her to bump into him and almost fall. Luckily his reflexes are on point so her caught her by her waist before she fell.
"Woah careful Jules," He said
Julie's face turned pink, "Where have you been?"
"Uhh somewhere, everywhere, and nowhere," He said
"Uh guys still here," Flynn said, "Also how the heck is Julie floating,"
"Oh uh Luke poofed in right in front of Julie almost making her fall so he caught her by her waist," I explained
"Ohhhh that makes sense," She said then smirked and gave me a look that I understood too well so we laughed
"Oh shut up you two," She said as she stood up brushing her clothes off, "Flynn so you can somewhat see and talk to Reggie but not Luke?"
"I guess I didn't even know he was here but now that you've said something I can kinda sense him here," She said
"Huh, maybe they have some kind of special bond?" Luke asked as he looked at Julie giving her the same look me and Flynn shared before they laughed
Just then Alex poofed in between us he looked so confused.
"What's going on?" He asked
"Me and Flynn were just leaving," Julie said grabbing her hand, "When I get back we need to practice,"
"For what?" Luke asked
"My school is throwing a Valentine's Day dance and asked us to preform, that is if y'all don't disappear the night of it," She said slightly glaring as us
"I promise you we won't," Luke said
"And I believe you," Julie sighs, "I just need a break before I deal with all of this," she said motioning to the group
I really hope I can ask Flynn to be my valentine.
Third POV
Little do they know as they're discussing a shadow is lurking, hoping, waiting to sabotage.
