Meredith's standpoint

The atmosphere was soothing, the music was pleasant, even the mood was great. Autumn and Mordecai were the only ones dancing, swaying around as everyone watched them. Anyone could effortlessly feel their love taunting everyone's singledom, telling everyone that love was real. I don't think they realize how much they love each other. At least Autumn didn't realize how much she loved him. They were talking about something in a hush, something that was making Autumn blush profusely while he laughed like no man's business.

I wonder what people discuss on their wedding day. Mom said I would know when I got there but still. I clicked my tongue and turned my attention to the yellowish liquid in my glass. I suddenly felt like the most single woman in the world. Will I ever get there?

"Hey," I flinched, almost springing up from my seat. The person placed his hand on the bare small of my back and his lips were close to my ear, that was why I jumped.

The dress I wore was a slightly tight dark green dress with a cowl neckline and long-net-sleeved. The dress accentuated my hips more and bared my back from the small to the waist. It almost looked like a crop top and a skirt if it wasn't for the lace that attached it at the sides. The bottom of the skirt was beaded, lacing around the hem and spiraling round to the hips. Let's just say the dress was more attractive than I expected it to be.

"Sorry," the person chuckled. I inhaled and turned around to look at who it was. It only made our faces a few inches apart from each other. I coughed awkwardly and stepped away from him. "Hi, I'm Winn, Winn Lovato and no, I am not related to Demi Lovato."

"Hi," I chuckled awkwardly. "Meredith Olsen,"

"Yeah, I already picked up on that," his eyes ran along my body, the lust I was all so used to. I sighed disappointedly, knowing it was too good to be true.

"How are you here?" I questioned, not that I care.

"Mordecai is my business partner so it was only proper that I be here. I suppose you are the bride's sister if your hair and body don't shout that out already." I nodded uninterestedly.

"Ahem," I looked over at who coughed, my lifesaver. Aaron stood there with his usual not smiling or frowning face, his eyes showing no emotion than detest for the young man trying to woo me. "Meredith, you didn't tell me you were bringing your boyfriend to the wedding," a brief message passed in his eyes. I blushed, already understanding it. Over the weeks of working for him, I was already understanding his silent messages. Working with him was better than I ever imagined. The man was taking my breath and heart away without even trying.

"I'm sorry, you know I can't keep them away from me when I'm standing alone. This wouldn't have happened if you stayed by my side," I said, playing along. Aaron was going to help me. I've lost count of the men who have approached me both at the church and reception, even the old men.

"I'm sorry, am I missing something here?" Winn asked, looking between us.

"I don't like men being too close to my girlfriend so get lost." Aaron spat. Winn's eyes crinkled in a very cute way before he broke into laughter. He looked at me again and laughed, dragging attention to us.

"What's so funny?" I whispered.

"Honey, it's not what you think," he laughed but spoke slowly, "You are gorgeous, sexy, hot, and every word that can be used to classify it, but you are not my type, not even one bit."

Er, ouch?

"That wasn't what your eyes were saying three minutes ago,"

"My eyes appreciate good things, but my body doesn't take them seriously. I only came here to talk to you to see if I can get enough tips to talk to her," he used his eyes to point at the person. I followed his eyes to Gaia who was sniggering quietly with Cousin Carla, the third most beautiful of the Olsen girls.
