A young girl, still in her school uniform, came running and went upstairs straight to her room. Then slumped on the bed with her heavy heart and bad mood.
Her mother, Rupali came after sometime asking for the snacks but she denied taking anything.
"What happened?" Rupali asked her daughter suspiciously.
"Nothing". The girl, none other than Niharika declared and again turned her face to the other side.
"Did you fight with your friends again?" Her mother asked again but didn't receive any response which grew her suspicion.
"And what is this? You tore your shirt again? Why?"
Niharika sat up immediately while looking at the hem of her shirt.
"They again tore it"
She said while fuming in anger.
"Why?"
Rupali asked now becoming serious.
"Mera bag fad diya, Khana fek diya. Uske bad mujhe gussa aya aur maine chilla di to mera shirt fad diya. Bol rahe the ki mazak hai bas aur mujhe mazak nehi samajh ati. Mujhe bas gussa ata hai" (They tore my bag and threw my tiffin. Then I became angry and shouted at them, so they tore my shirt. They said, it was just for fun and I don't know how to do fun and jokes. I only know how to become angry)
She said while fuming in anger.
"Arey khana fek dena, shirt fad dena ye kysa mazak hai?" (Throwing your tiffin, tearing your shirt, what types of jokes are these)
Rupali asked being frustrated with the everyday incident.
"They said, I have a weird dressing sense and I'm not smart like them"
Niharika again curled herself as her mother sighed.
"Okay, then no need to talk with them. Now come. Your food is getting cold"
She nodded slightly then forgot it like everyday while chit-chatting with her mother.
At night, Suresh came from the office and saw Niharika sitting with a grumpy expression.
