"Garv sir, as per your requirement, I have selected these two outfits for tonight's event.Hope you like it"Muskaan(my stylist) informed me by showing two outfits resting on my sofa.
"Hmmm. Thank-you but do you really think this will match the vibe.... I mean what's the theme?"I asked, checking my phone and sitting comfortably on the opposite sofa.
"Something black I guess. Hriday, do you have that invite with you?"Muskaan asked, looking at Hriday, my manager who was busy with his breakfast. They have been working with me for the past two years.
"Yeah. But please let me have something. I can't express how hungry I am" Hriday said, having paratha which my cook made this morning.
"Hriday, do you really forget to have your food at home ? I mean daily? " I asked,keeping my phone on the tea table.
"What if I say No? "He laughed.
I heard my phone ringing and picked it to answer.
"Two minutes guys"
"Okay I will meet you all soon.I have to get back to my work. Ping me when you need something "Muskaan said, taking her bag and leaving the house.
I decided to talk to my Mumma alone because I don't prefer talking in front of anyone over the phone.
"Ha Mumma, dhok lagau"I answered, closing the room door.
(Dhok lagau - a phrase for saying I am touching your feet and grant me your blessings)
" Jivto reh khush reh. Woh sab chod ye bata shaadi kab karega?29 ka ho gaya. Dhruv 2 bachcho ka baap ban gaya aur tu yeha career ke chakkar mai betha hai"
(May you live long and happy. When are you getting married? You are of 29 whereas Dhruv is the father of two kids and you are still busy settling in your career)
