Review:
The story is about a man retelling events from his childhood, telling of the experiences of being an outcast among his family and peers.
It is a very interesting read, though I was put off by the telling of the boy experiencing masturbation for the first time. But, as we've all done growing and experiencing lust for the first time, we all did it. Still, it was really hard to read.
Aside from that, the book was filled with different adventures that kids tend to experience be it bad or good.
Trigger warning: there are several scenes of abuse, suicide, rape, and assault.
