Jenelle and Derek have a 5-year age gap, they were became neighbors at the age of 8 and 13. Despite the age difference the two of them were very close, after school he'd wait for her to come out of her school. But....at the age of 12 and 17 she had 'disappeared' as her so called parents told him; in reality she had been shipped off to a boarding school somewhere in Canada since her own parents didn't like how close she was to Derek. As a way to cope with the suddenness of being sent to a boarding school she had decided to take up gymnastics, dance, and cheer. She did keep up with good grades of course A's and B's, wanting to make her parents proud. The schedule she kept was very busy and full, but it kept her away from her thoughts. Which she didn't mind as it made her depressed and anxiety driven.
