❛ Each word, inner thought, and dialogue shared, is delicately crafted to portray the deep and heart-breaking (as well as heart-warming) emotions that us, as readers, can feel and understand.
The plot and morals compensate for the bone-chilling moments, resulting in a highly recommended read. It's probably one of the best books I've read in a while. ❜
❛ In contrast to what I usually read on here, 'How to Be Human' shows realism within the characters. Jisung's character in particular speaks to the reality of having doubts in your sexual orientation, which I find to be very realistic.
The contrasts between all of the characters makes you feel for them (I wanna cry every time). It makes me want to jump through the screen and give them a big hug. ❜
❛ All of the characters in 'How to Be Human' are full of life and unique, each with distinctive mannerisms and ways of talking. The author does a good job with making and representing strong, unique characters.
Also, the decision not to go for the stereotypical Wattpad dad adds depth; showing little glimpses of humanity in Jisung's parents makes the manipulation more realistic and plausible. ❜
