"Oh, relax, sweetheart. I just need you to call your lady friends over, so we can all have.... a little talk" he smiled coming closer to the two, "About what?" Beth questioned looking at him

"Oh, about the money you stole from us"

"Yo, this backsplash is dope. Hey, what's it made out of? Marble? Yo, you have any problems with staining back here? Like, if you're cooking a big pot of spaghetti sauce or something like that?" he asked looking at the four girls

"How the fuck would you get spaghetti sauce on the wall?" Carmella asked rolling her eyes as Annie hit her arm, "No, i dont think so" Beth spoke up

"No?" he chuckled, "We didnt know you owned the store" Ruby spoke up as he looked at the four and chuckled a little

"I look like some kind of grocery store manager to you? Or, like, Rotary club or something?" he asked standing right in front of the four

"No, lets just say that we got certain arrangements with some local businesses. And we help each other out and whatnot. You know?" he spoke, "Like... money laundering for drugs?" Ruby asked with tears in her eyes

"I told you it was shady" she whispered yelled turning to the three girls, "Why dont you stop worrying about my business dealings and start figuring how you're gonna pay me my money back"

"We can get it back" Carmella spoke up crossing her arms over her chest, "Oh, that would be great" he smiled

"Most of it" Annie trialed off, "Sorry, what?" he asked looking at her as she began to stutter, "S-Some of it, for sure"

"Oh, what, like you guys didnt spend a dime" Annie whisper yelled at the three, "I didnt!" Carmella threw her hands up in defense

"How much, Annie?" Beth asked looking at her, "I dont know. I probably spend, like, a hundred . grand" she spoke whispering the end

"What?" the three asked at the same time looking at her, "I'm gonna shoot you myself!" Ruby whispered yelled as he cut the four off

"Nah, you're just gonna pay me back is all" he said picking up a glass, "I mean, right quick, too. With interest. So we'll see you real soo. You know, you've really gotta be careful, ladies. I mean, with citrus on marble, like lemon and whatnot. That stuff will erode like crazy" he spoke before turning and leaving

Carmella wasn't that worried when she got home, she was more scared of her ex than some grocery manger dude

"Stella!" Carmella yelled setting her keys on the counter, "In my room! Homework!" Stella yelled back

"What kind?" Carmella asked walking into her room, "Math"

"Ew" She said sitting on the bed as Stella smiled, "I know" she sighed dropping her pencil and sitting up

"Where were you?" Estella asked looking at her mom, "At Beth's. Dont worry about it" Carmella smiled kissing the top of her head

"But im gonna be real busy with work these next few days so you're gonna go stay with grandma and grandpa, is that ok?" Carmella asked looking at her

"Duh! They spoil me like crazy" Stella laughed a little, "Okay, ill bring you over there tomorrow before i go to work. They'll bring you to and from school and all"

"Where we at?" Beth asked looking at Carmella and Ruby, "Short" the replied at the same time

"By how much?"

"Over sixty grand" Ruby said as Beth sighed, "What about the car?" Carmella asked looking at Annie

"i took it back. Lost over half its value, B-T-dubs" Annie said annoyed, "Well, maybe you shouldn't have bought it in the first place" Ruby said looking at her

"My, what a helpful contribution. Let me just grab my time machine"

"Oh, my God" Ruby sighed, "We should just go to the police" she added

"Wait. What?"

"We haven't done anything that bad yet. We dont have records" Ruby tried, "uh, yeah. Now we do"

"If we jut explain to them that-"

"Explain what, that we meant well? Gee, Officer, we're sorry. We didnt mean to piss off the gang. We just wanted to rob the grocery store"

"Okay, im just trying not to die, ok?"

"I dont know. He's kinda hot" Carmella smiled thinking about him, "Mell!"

"Anyways. Annie, if you have a better plan-"

"Actually, yes, i do" Annie spoke up cutting Ruby off, "We should take it from somewhere else. We'll just steal it and then we'll pay them back and then we'll just put the whole thing to bed" she added

"Bitch, are you out of your mind?" Ruby yelled, "Its the best possible plan!" Annie yelled back

"Enough!" Beth yelled cutting them both off, "Enough. We're gonna get that money. We're gonna figure it out. Because we are strong and we're resourceful. And we've accomplished way harder than this. I once made 300 damn cupcakes in one night, and they were both nut and gluten-free"

"That one kid still had any allergy attack" Annie and Carmella said at the same time, as Carmella beagn looking around, "Damn, who said that?"

"And you dont always have to fact-check me, okay?" Beth said looking at Annie before sighing

"im gonna take a shower. I smell like booze and crime" Beth said before leaving

"Call you tomorrow" Ruby said grabbing her purse and leaving, "Bye, love you, A" Mella smiled hugging Annie before following Ruby

Carmella walked into the grocery store they robbed the other day with Annie, Annie had a shift and Carmella was off so she decided to come and annoy Annie

"Hey, whats with the fuzz?" Annie asked looking at the same security guard that chased them but he now had a neck brace on, "We got robbed, yo. Get woke"

"Yeah, but isnt that, like, old news?" Annie asked glancing at Carmella who shrugged, "They had gun, Annie. I threw my neck out" he said motioning to the brace

"Must of been really scary" Carmella spoke up, "In my job, they key is to think of yourself as already dead, so there's nothing left to be afraid of"

"Wow" the two girls spoke at the same time, "Hey, have you seen Boomer?" he asked looking back at Annie

"Why?"

"The cops wanna talk to him again, but he never came in for his shift" he said as Annie shrugged, "No, i haven't seen him" she replied as the security guard slowly turned back around
