Possession

Chapter 3

Nicky yawned and stretched arching his back. The sun was seting slowly. "Tomorrow he has two days left." Nicky snarled. Roxy padded over to Nicky "I'm glad we don't carry a scent." She spoke up "Me too we would have gotten caught from one of their border patrols if we did carry a scent." Roxy nodded and opened her jaws in a yawn "Why are we doing this again?" Roxy looked over at Nicky and Nicky shrugged "For fun I suppose also to test out our powers" Roxy opened her mouth to speak before a bird cut her off "Stupid birds!" She barked "I'll kill it." Roxy leaped up onto the trees trunk and climbed it. She swiped her paw and gripped the bird in her claws. She brought the bird down and killed it in one swift bite. "Done." She announced proudly before laying down to eat it.

Through mouthfuls Roxy would speak "These dumb birds" She mumbled "always ruining everything" she swallowed the last of her bird "just like those damn clan wolves!" Her ears went back at the thought of the wolves "Why can't they go else where like the sea wolves or the mountain wolves?!" She asked but looked over to realize she was speaking to herself "Nicky where in the dark forests name did you go?!" She barked than stood up looking around frantically trying to find her mate and partner in crime "Nicky this isn't funny you know!" Nicky pounced on Roxy "Hey what in the name of the dark forest is your problem?!" She Snarled "I'm testing your reflexes." He jumped off of Roxy and sat near her "We don't carry a scent how was I supposed to know you were there?!" She barked obviously pissed off "You can't just attack me and think I'll miss it!" She took a step forward and spoke in Nickys face before turning around and trotting off "Roxy it was a simple test I wasn't gonna murder you!" Nicky barked but Roxy was too far away to hear him

Roxy found a area surrounded by trees where she could calm down "He is so stupid." Roxy Snarled to herself before clawing the grass ripping up the green grass below her paws "I hate when he acts like that! Like who does he think he is?!" She brushed off the question and stopped ripping the grass when she realized she was clawing at the dirt and her paws were full of grass and dirt "Stupid dumb grass!" She stood and up and shook her fur before padding over to the lake nearby. She bent down to take a drink her tongue lapping at the water before she placed her front paws into the water washing away the dirt and grass.

Nicky began looking for Roxy "Right no scent" he muttered to himself as he followed paw prints. He found a patch of grass all tore and ripped up with claw marks in it. "Roxy was here definitely" Nicky thought to himself before heading for the nearby lake. He walked into the clearing where the lake was and found Roxy cleaning her paws "There you are." Nicky yipped as Roxy whipped her head around and snarled "What now?! Gonna attack me again?!" Roxy barked loudly as she spoke. She was extremely angry at Nicky "Calm down." Nicky yipped softly

Roxy sighed and slowly walked to Nicky and sat beside him neatly placing her tail on her paws "Look im mad at you for surprise attacking me!" Nicky sighed "It was to test your reflexes I didn't mean to make you upset." She looked over at Nicky "Well you did!" The sun was fully set now the moon slowly rising "He's got two days now." Muttered Nicky
