Shreya - Just for about 10 days. It's a short break, you know.🙂
FIL smiled, "Well, that sounds reasonable. We'll miss you both, but go ahead and enjoy your time together."
Shreya and Siddharth exchanged relieved glances, "Thank you, Mom, Dad. We appreciate your understanding."😄
As they left the room, Siddharth couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and embarrassment. Shreya, on the other hand, was silently contemplating how to break the news to her own parents.
Later in the day, as they sat in the living room, Shreya's mind was preoccupied with thoughts about how to approach her parents with the same news. Siddharth noticed her contemplative expression.💭😔

Shreya - I'm just trying to figure out how to tell my parents about our "honeymoon" trip without making it awkward.
Siddharth smirked, Well, you wanted me to handle it in the morning. Now it's your turn.😁🫣
Shreya (rolled her eyes) - You know it's not that easy, especially papa ko batana. He's a bit traditional.
Siddharth - We'll figure it out together. Maybe we can tell them that it's a surprise trip or something.🙂
Shreya nodded, "Yeah, aeisa kr sakte hai. I just hope they don't overthink it. I don't want them to worry. ... Mei mom ko phone krke bata dungi, wo papa ko bata dengi.🙂
As the day unfolded, they both were in their bedroom's balcony, in their comfort wears and enjoying the weather, the atmosphere out there. As the sun sets🌇, casting a warm glow over the landscape, Siddharth took Shreya by the hand.🫴
Siddharth - Shreya, ek cheez karni thi maine.
Shreya looked at him curiously, "Kya?"🙄
Siddharth - Yeh.
He pulled her into a gentle embrace, and they danced under the starlit sky. The moon witnessed their love story unfold, and the surroundings seemed to applaud their happiness.✨❣️
