Ayanokoji Kiyotaka POV:

Opening Move

An opening move in chess refers to the initial moves made by each player at the beginning of the game. These moves are crucial as they set the stage for the subsequent development of pieces, control of the board's center, d4, d5, e4, and e5, and overall strategic plans.

As the Chess-themed Man said before each title holds a significant meaning.

The "Opening Move" is probably the commencement of the school year, meaning we'll be probably watching one of the first-year students.

April. The school entrance ceremony.

A voice vibrated throughout the whole Auditorium

This causes students from each section to be shocked or startled by this

"Wow, we are hearing someone's thoughts!"

"This person's voice is very monotone"

"Huh..never heard of it"

"Who is it?"

A cacophony of voices reverberated throughout the auditorium. Amuse, Shock, and Confusion.

The elephant in the room was whose voice was it?

...Unfortunately...it's..

"AYANOKOJI-KUN?!"

Every single one of my classmates (Even Kouenji who just looked at me for a second before going back to admire himself in the mirror), were staring at me with shock and confusion.

This cause a chain reaction with everyone in the Auditorium from each section staring right at me

This is getting uncomfortable....

It wasn't that I'm surprised I would be shown on the screen but rather from the unexpected early occurrence of my appearance

I have an idea why though, the screen will probably show an Alternative version of the argument between Kouenji, the old lady, the office lady, and the priority seat. Also, Kushida and Horikita will be also shown which could easily move attention away from me albeit a little

However due to this being an Alternate Timeline, numerous deviations will be shown. So possibly my mindset or attitude underwent a sudden shift. Hopefully I didn't say anything stupid in my thoughts....

"Huh why are you watching? No offense, but you're plain and dull"

Shinohara was the first person to speak

"Shinohara-san please don't insult Ayanokoji-kun, that's rude and he is probably just as confused as you are"

Hirata reprimanded Shinohara while looking at me with a sorrowful expression. Shinohara was somewhat ashamed of her actions and look slightly down

"Ayanokoji-kun if you prefer not to speak, that's perfectly fine. Considering that all eyes are on you, it would be an understandable decision"

Hirata spoke loudly so that everyone in Auditorium could hear what he said.

Some people from the Auditorium understood what Hirata meant and stopped looking at me. While others did not listen and were still staring at me

I have to really thank Hirata for this. He's really an angel.

"Thank you Hirata-kun. Though I don't why the screen is showing me I do have an idea about it"

I spoke somewhat loudly so that everyone in the Auditorium could hear me.
