It's been a couple of days and she hasn't been back. It worries me because Elena said that she would never leave me. She promised that, yet I haven't seen her c9mw back. I've been waiting and waiting.
Maybe she was tired of me? Or maybe she doesn't know I'm right here. Waiting for her. I shook my head before standing up. No. My sister is the best in the world. She wouldn't leave me here unless she couldn't make it back
Something rustled in the bushes and before I could turn to see what was happening something covered my mouth and stopped me from escaping. "Stay still and don't scream. Understood?" I shook my head and yelped when extra pressure was applied before hastily nodding. I grunted as I hit the floor and stared at whoever had grabbed before my eyes widened in surprised.
In front of me was a boy like Elena's age. I tilted my head before slowly getting up "Have you seen my sister?" I asked. The boy made a funny face at me as he went around me in a circle "you're....human?" I stared at him before nodding happily "yep!Have you seen my sister?" He shook his head and looked around just like Elena used to do. When ve turned back towards me he asked something I wasn't expecting "where are your parents?" I looked down at my shoes and felt my lip quiver. "I.... I don't know. Mama said to run when the ground moved "Something came closer and gently lifted my head up "That's alright. I just wanted to know. How about I take you to my family so you can eat something. Hmm?" I thought about it before shaking my head "but the said not to go with a stranger! Or- or leave the spot where I got lost !"
He sighed "Well, you're not lost. Your sister is and I'm going to take good care of you. I promise " I stared at him with wide eyes before holding out my pinky "pinky promise?" He joined his with mine "pinky promise kid." He stood up and offered me his hand.
"What's your name?" I grinned at him while taking his hand "my names Anna!" He chuckled before he started walking "nice to meet you Anna.
