"Good night." His mother said before shutting the door to his room. Minghao turned off his lamp and laid down. He stared at the ceiling. "How did I do that?" He said out loud. Thinking back to the dinner, Minghao didn't even realise he could be so flirty. It was very out of character for him, but Mei didn't seem to mind it. He didn't seem to mind it. In fact, he kind of enjoyed seeing Mei get flustered. Was that weird? Agh. He pulled on his hair and kicked in place. Why did he feel like this? It was so frustrating but it was also made his heart... flutter? Is that what this was? Or was it because now they were *officially* friends? IS HIS HEART EVEN FLUTTERING? Minghao sighed. Okay, he had to know if he liked her. If he didn't, then great, no problem. If he did... "I'll figure that out later" he said out loud and grabbed his phone from his nightstand. "If there's one person who can help with this kinda stuff, aha." He said, and clicked on Junhui's chat.

Hao:
Jun you still up?

Jun:
It's a Friday night, why wouldn't I be?

Hao:
I need help with something

Jun:
I SWEAR HAO IF YOURE DOING SCHOOL WORK I WILL
PERSONALLY COME TO KILL YOU

Hao:
It's more of a girl problem...

Jun:
Now you're talking. Tell me everything.

Hao:
So there's this girl, and I wanted to be friends with her. But I didn't know
how to do that without our mutual friends. But today my dad took us to
his employee's house for dinner, and turns out that employee is her father.
so somehow we got into a conversation and I told her dad she was my
good friend. Then after dinner she took me out to see the neighbourhood
and SOMEHOW I got super flirty like I was complimenting her and I said she's
pretty and all that and now I'm home and wondering how I did that though I kinda
liked seeing her get flustered? Anyway now I don't know if I like her or if I'm
just happy that she also called me a good friend.

okay now that I'm done reading your paragraph, I can tell you three things.
One, I REALLY need to see you flirt.

Hao:

Two, if she got flustered then if you like her, there's a chance she might
like you back, or she felt uncomfortable.
Three, if you aren't sure, take her out somewhere and see how you feel.
if it's the same as how you felt when you go with my sister or Mei, you don't like
her. If you enjoy those moments where you accidentally brush her fingers,
and you want to buy her stuff but not cause your being polite,
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE A CRUSH!

Hao:

Minghao laughed at his phone, it was true. He wasn't exactly a pro at navigating crushes and things. Just as he finally put down his phone, he received another text.

Hao:
Yeah. You can't sleep too?
