As the wheels of the car rolled away from the tearful Vidaai, Arjun looked at his wife who's still crying making him sigh , he don't like to see tears in her eyes .
" Jaan please stop, you'll fall ill if you keep crying " Arjun said taking her in his arms caressing her back
" But I'm really missing them already" Noor said stealing glances at the fading lights of her parental home, now a cherished memory.
" You can come to meet them whenever you want , who's stopping you " he said wiping her cheeks , she look up at him pouting and showed him her pinky finger
" Promise" she whispered, he look at her finger and then at her and then at her finger again , shaking his head he chuckled
" Promise" he said joining their fingers and thumb , locking their promise
He put her head down on his shoulder again " now take some rest , who knows if you'll get any tonight" he teased her earning a slap from her , she shyly hide her face in his chest making him chuckle before taking her in side hug and patting her back lightly to relax her.
Upon reaching their destination, Arjun come out from car before helping her out , her dress is really heavy so he hold it from corner to make it easy for her to walk . They come in front of door where his mother is waiting for them with a happy smile on face , she did their arti and told noor to push the rice filled kalash gently with her right toe before entering into the house , Noor did as she told nervously
As they entered their home, Arjun supported Noor, guiding her through the threshold.
" Some more rituals are left so let's complete them quickly,so you can rest after that " his mother said caressing her head lovingly, noor smiled looking at her
She took the couple where they have to complete next ritual , Noor look down at bowl filled with rose petals, some nuts and milk water , Arjun look at it excitedly before turning to noor with smirk , she raised her eyebrows trying to get what's going on in his little brain.
" Come sit down you both " she guided them to their seat in front of bowl " so I'm going to put a ring inside the bowl and you both have to find it , you only have three chances, the one who'll find it more time will have upper hand in married life, you get it right?" His mother said excitedly and they nodded before looking at each other
The Ring Finding ceremony started, Arjun and Noor dipped their hands into a bowl of milk, searching for a hidden ring.
After few minutes Arjun take out the ring from bowl smirking at noor who pouted looking at him , his friends clapped happily
His mother again put the ring in bowl , they started finding again and this time took it out showing everyone excitedly and then look at Arjun showing her tongue playfully, he just smiled at her
His mother look at them " now this is last time , so you guys need to work hard " she giggled before stepping away
They again put their hand inside the bowl searching for ring , noor was so concentrated and she's looking cute to him , the way she's frowning, the way she bite her lips , looking at her dedication he shake his head and hold her hand , she look around before looking at him nervously but when he slipped ring in her hand she smiled happily before taking her hand out showing everyone ring
" The hell man , you really failed to find the ring" mayank asked looking at him suspiciously
" Ofcourse he did . I knew you'll won " tannu said excitedly before taking her bestfriend in side hug and mayank just looked at her before looking back at his best friend suspiciously who just shrugged his shoulders carelessly at him
