Once they arrived at the battlefield over Coruscant, the three Jedi rushed to their fighters and began navigating the messy battlefield littered with ships going through fire and blasts coming from every which way. To navigate all of this, you had to be a very precise pilot, and very attuned to your surroundings. Akya didn't enjoy flying, but she wasn't too bad at it, especially since Anakin had taught her a couple things over the course of the Clone Wars. She much preferred a joyride on a speeder of some sort— that, however, was of no importance right now, because they had a Chancellor to save.
They made their way toward Grievous's command ship, directed mainly by Anakin.
"Master, General Grievous's ship is directly ahead," he said, over their shared comm. "The one crawling with vulture droids."
"Oh, I see it," Akya heard her Master say. "Oh, this is going to be easy."
"That's not the word I would use," said Akya, and as if on cue, the vulture droids took off toward the three Jedi, speeding up fast.
"Oddball, do you copy?" Obi-Wan said.
"Copy, Red Leader," said the clone's voice over the headset.
"Mark my position. Form your squad up behind me."
"We're on your tail, General Kenobi."
The crew of clones from the 212th came up behind the three Jedi, setting the S-foils of their fighters into attack position as the vulture droids continued their approach.
"This is where the fun begins," Anakin's voice said. Akya rolled her eyes.
"Let them pass between us," said Obi-Wan quickly. The vulture droids did as Master Obi-Wan presumed and went between their ships, then came back around from behind. Lots of chatter came from the headset, clones calling for backup and getting cut off into static after mentioning they had some on their tail.
"I should go help them out," said Akya, looking beside her at a small explosion caused by one of their fighters being blasted by a droid.
"No," said Obi-Wan. "They are doing their job so we can do ours."
After a couple more seconds of shaky flying, a warning came into Akya's ears through the headset: "Missiles. Pull up," said Anakin's voice, as Akya spotted blue tails following four silver missiles, coming their way. The three Jedi dodged them smoothly.
"They overshot us," said Akya.
"They're coming around," replied Anakin.
Anakin was right, and the blue tailed missiles did indeed circle back to them, chasing from behind. Akya pushed on the throttle for a little more speed as the astromech seated on the wing of her ship beeped in precaution, telling her what Anakin's and Obi-Wan's star fighters were preparing for.
"Alright," she said over the comm. "Follow Master closely. Not too fast, R5, alright?"
The droid beeped in accordance, and as if on cue, Anakin and Obi-Wan's fighters spun to avoid the missiles, and Akya followed her master as he veered away from Anakin. They each had a missile on their tail.
"Bring up the scanners, R5," she said. "You fly."
The yellow astromech beeped an affirmative and took the controls while Akya stared down at the scanners, waiting for the missile to be in range. She heard her master mutter a short, "Flying is for droids," over the comm as she watched the targeting computer.
"Come on, come on," she said. In another moment, the missile was in her range and she pressed the button to fire her blasters, immediately creating a small explosion behind her. "I'm free, Master," she said. "You need some help?"
