Y/n's pov.

Fukahori-Sensei, deep in her rant about the importance of language, was giving a lecture on a war between China and Europe. As much as I had tried to absorb the information that was easily falling from her mouth faster than my brain could process it, I zoned out, only picking up on what was one of the reasons the Europeans threw a fit: they disliked the usage of the character 'Yi' that meant foreign but could also be used to reference a barbarian; apparently, despite multiple creditable translators correcting the mistake in translating Chinese 'Yi' as barbarians in English, multiple news outlets continued to spread the lie that the Chinese considered europeans to be barbarians.

'They wouldn't be wrong if they did call them barbarians, after all the Chinese actually practiced proper hygiene before the Europeans and were considered more proper in regard to behavior for the time.' I leaned my body to hide behind the student in front of me, what was his name? My colleague in getting embarrassed easily, I think he was referred to as Baek-kun one time...

A tap on my shoulder interrupts my train of thought. I turned around in confusion before my eyes settled on a flashy looking girl, it was the girl who came in because she had missed Fukahori-sensei's last lesson in her own class, thus she came to ours to make up for it. She flashed a smile, like you'd see on an award-winning actor claiming a prize long since deserved. "Hiya darling~ Do you mind if I look at your notes for a sec?" She asked with a flutter of her eyelashes.

Her family name is Sunobu. If I remember correctly, I hadn't picked up her given name.

I nodded silently and grabbed my notebook before handing it to the girl. She looked really similar to Kokona now that I think about it. Similar shades of purple hair, though Kokona's hair had more cooler tones than Sunobu, her hair styled into tornado like twintails with a rose, like the one Kokona wore, at the base of each twintail, her gaze was much more confident and self-assured than Kokona's kinder eyes. Not to mention she had a pretty choker with a rose in the middle of the band.

Sunobu accepted the notes. "Thanks, Cutie~!" She winked, slightly taken by surprise, I turned back to face the board as my cheeks grew slightly warmer then returned to trying to listen to the lecture.

Up front, Fukahori-Sensei was leaning over the desk in front of the board, where she had left her laptop on. After a moment, likely reading something on the screen, Fukahori-Sensei looked up and directly at me. I felt myself freeze as our eyes met.

"L/n-san." She called.

I nodded. "Yes?"

Fukahori-Sensei stood back straight, picking up the chalk that she had rested on the holder on the board and nodded towards the door of the class, she then gestured towards me then at the door to further drill her message into me. "You have been summoned to the Counselor's office, are you familiar with where that is? Would you like a guide?"

The class began to grow restless, I got the feeling they were hoping I needed help, to save them from the lecture. Grabbing my pencil and pen, I dropped both into my book bag before closing it and standing up. "I know where it is, excuse me for the interruption, Sensei." Apologetically I bowed back, Fukahori-sensei turned back around to face the board trying to gather herself and finding where she had left off on, she made a shooing motion with her hand.
