The Horse Clan Leader (also known as Akwey) is a minor character in Avatar. He is the clan leader of the Horse clan of the Plains, and is witnessed fighting in the Assault on the Tree of Souls on his direhorse. He was also witnessed retreating with another Na'vi person, also on his direhorse. It is unknown if he survived the battle. He is portrayed by actor Peter Mensah.
◾The name of the character was originally revealed when an action figure created to resemble him was released. Concept art from the film shows him in it and is labeled "Akwey". He was, however, credited as "Horse Clan Leader" in the film.
