"Thank God school is over! Finals was pretty brutal!" Hanni said in relief.
"Don't even get me started on that. It was annoying enough finding a place to study." Haerin groaned.
"For real it was hard to study. I don't know even know if I passed!" Hyein said.
"That's pretty bad dude..." Haerin shook her head.
"I should really be concerned for you." Danielle said with concern.
"You SHOULD know what you got! A good grade is how you pass this year! You don't wanna be repeating another year!" Hanni stammered in disbelief.
"Unnie has a point Hyein-ah. Final exams have a big impact on your grades. I know it's not that hard since you're a middle schooler but in highschool this determines whether you graduate or not. We're not trying to belittle you, but you need to start thinking about your studies. You will learn life won't hand you freebies. I learned that the hard way." Garam stood next to Hyein. It was hard to believe this baby was the same height as her. She might even rival Sakura in height.
"What an inspiring speech Garam-ah! I'm happy at least someone sees the importance of education. It is the sole driving force of society. To seek knowledge is to enhance your mind of many things. The world is filled with much wisdom we should learn!" Heejin went philosophical mode as always.
"Mwo?" Hyein blinked confused.
"Ajumma means there's so much to learn if you focus on your studies. You may surprise yourself if you just pay attention." Minji clarified.
"After this recording we have a fellow highschool graduate to celebrate!" Heejin embraced Minji and Hanni.
"Our graduation isn't until February? Don't you think it's soon?" Hanni questions.
"It's never too soon to enjoy the accomplishment of potentially your biggest achievement man has accomplished." Heejin said leaving the girls to cringe again.
NewJeans decided to close the year with another dance performance. They were all dressed in the exact same school uniform they wore for the music video. Garam for the occasion showed her luscious long hazelnut hair. Garam let a few sassy winks throughout the performance. NewJeans celebrated the New Years with cake and cider.
