REIVEN'S POV**

I felt like my world stop for a moment.

The clock stopped ticking and everything froze for a moment.

At that moment, i felt like we were alone in this world.

My cheeks start heating up as I felt my blood rush coming through.

The fact na di ko alam na birthday ko na pala ngayon made it kind of funny, at the same time im flustered she remembered.

"H-huh?"

"Don't tell me sariling birthday mo nakalimutan mo?" West asked with her brows raised at me.

Napangiti nalang ako sabay tawa.

Napapikit naman ako nang pitik ako nito sa ilong.

I threw her a confused look but, she just smiled at me before turning her back at me at lumabas ng kusina para bumalik na sa kwarto nya.

Tignan mo nga naman.

Pagtapos ako pakiligin, paghuhugasin ako plato.

Gandnag regalo, West. Kakaiba ka talaga anak ka ng tokwa.

Labag man sa loob, nag ligpit na ako nagdesisyon na aakyat na sana sa kwarto nang mag ring naman cellphone ko. Puzzled at the thought of who the heck would call me at this hour.

My forehead was ceased as I read the name flashed on the screen pero bigla naman nawala when I read a familiar name.

Without hesistations, I swiped up and answered.

"Yaho~!" her voice spoke sa kabilang linya automatically making me smile.

"Why are you still up?" I asked directly, hiding the fact na mukha na akong ewan na nakangiti rito habang naka sandal sa may hagdan.

"How rash, di man lang nag hi!" Via complained.

"Pfft. Edi, Hi."

"Sungit!"

"What's up?"

"Asan ka?"

"....Bahay?"

"Weh?"

"Ano trip mo?"

"Wala! Labas ka nga saglit, may uutos lang ako," she said while giggling.

Nangunot naman noo ko, nagtataka ano nanaman naiisip ng babaeng to.

"You do know na 12:45 na?"

Hirap sa cellphone hindi mo matadyakan.

I sighed heavily and did as she said.

Pag bukas ko ng pinto halos mawalan naman ako kaluluwa nang matanaw ko sya, nakatayo sa ilalim ng poste sa tapat ng gate namin.

"What the fuck, Via..... mukha kang serial killer dyan..." bulong ko sa phone since di na ako makasigaw kasi alanganing oras na rin.

I can see her laughing.

Bumalik ako saglit sa loob to grab a cap and a robe bago lumabas ng gate.

I tried not making any noise since I was aware na tulog na si West sa taas. Kahit sino naman siguro di gugustuhin na magising sa pagkakahimbing diba?

When I finally made my way out quietly, she greeted me with a wide smile before giving me a tight hug that somehow gave me a safe feeling.
