Having their only child, and dreaming of having a girl in their family. That perfectly describes my life with the Ruiz's.

I was in my room while Tita Lucia, which she suggested herself when she heard me calling her Ma'am over and over again. She is combing my long hair while we are both now wearing our pyjamas.

"How was your first day, Iha? May mga kaibigan ka na ba?" She asked hopefully.

Hindi ko alam. But it was almost. Just almost. Because I don't think Carlo would still see me as a friend after that.

I breathed in deeply and remembered what happened at the cafeteria.

Our eyes met in the mirror and saw how hopeful it was.

If only Amell didn't care and talk so casually while we gathered all the attention of the students in the canteen.

Her bright smile appeared. And I can't help but question how Amell is acting that way. His parents were really kind and yet...he has friends who are bullies and he himself is a bully. Or do they even know that their son is acting that way?

Carlo even mentioned that he is participating in an underground street fight. Just how?

I tapped my fingers on my legs and gathered my thoughts. Maybe they knew about it but they see it as his normal pace, yung tipong lilipas rin. That is what she mentioned before we were introduced to each other, that he is at his very sensitive age.

Or is that reason even justifiable? He is a bully, and what would be the reason behind it? Because he is at a very fragile pace in his teens, I don't think so. You bully someone because you do, no other reasons for it. And no other excuses.

Within the last few weeks, I am always eating my meals with them, mas naging komportable naman na ako sa presensiya nila. But after finding out yesterday regarding Amell, I felt too uneasy and uncomfortable while eating my breakfast the next morning.

"Iha, hindi ka daw sumabay kay Amell kahapon. Please, Iha, I'll be more comfortable kung sasabay ka sa kanya sa pasukan at uwian niyo." Tita Lucia lamented.

"We just wanted you to be safe, Iha, lalo na at pinagkatiwala ka sa amin ng Lola mo. You are under our roof and our responsibility and we do not want to disappoint your Lola, kung sakaling may mangyari sayo." Tito Elias further supplemented.

Nakaramdam ako ng hiya. They have the right to demand it and it's just a simple request. Nasa poder nila ako and Lola trusted them very much.

"Pasensya na po. Hindi na po mauulit." I looked at them apologetically.

I looked in front of me and I almost wanna regret it again when I saw how cold his stare was.

His parents' eyes look so warm while he is just..totally different.

I continued eating my food and I almost wanna stay in my seat knowing that I will be with him all alone in the next few minutes.

His expensive looking car is just in front of him while he is...smoking?

But realization hitted me.

They let him smoke?

"Iha, be careful, okay. Call me if you have an emergency."
