"You have no idea where you're going, do you?" Sokka quizzed Aang, casting doubt on the latter's sense of direction.

Seated in Appa's saddle, Sokka and Katara exchanged skeptical glances while Aang perched atop the flying bison's head, his demeanour radiating an air of carefree confidence. Meanwhile, Kireina and Yun soared alongside on Ying's back, their expressions a mix of curiosity and amusement.

"Well, I do know it's somewhere near water," Aang chirped optimistically, his words failing to reassure his companions.

"Ah, yes, we must be very close then," Sokka retorted sarcastically, his gaze sweeping over the endless expanse of the sea.

Meanwhile, Katara was engrossed in mending a tear in Sokka's pants, her skilled hands deftly navigating the needle and thread. Aang stole a glance at her from his vantage point on Appa's head, Momo perched on his shoulder.

"Momo, marbles, please," Aang requested, and the lemur obediently retrieved two small, grey marbles from within Aang's shirt. "Hey, Katara, check out this airbending trick!"

With a flourish, Aang used his airbending to set the marbles spinning in an equatorial display. His grin widened as he awaited Katara's reaction, while Kireina couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy and irritation at Aang's obvious attempt to impress Katara instead of her.

Yun mirrored Kireina's reaction but directed his gaze towards Katara's skilled hands as they worked the needle and thread with precision.

"That's great, Aang," Katara praised nonchalantly, her attention focused on her task at hand.

Aang halted the trick, his disappointment evident when Katara didn't respond with the enthusiasm he had hoped for. "You didn't even look."

In an attempt to appease Aang, Katara tore her attention away from sewing. "That's great!"

Kireina couldn't help but snort in amusement, while Yun stifled a chuckle.

"But I'm not doing it now," Aang replied, his disappointment palpable.

Sokka waved off Aang's disappointment with a casual gesture. "Stop bugging her, airhead. You've got to give girls their space, especially when they're focused on their sewing."

Kireina's jealousy momentarily dissolved as she shot Sokka a pointed glare. "What does our gender have to do with sewing?"

"Simple," Sokka drawled, reclining with lazy ease as he propped his arms behind his head. "Girls are better when it comes to fixing pants than boys, while us guys excel in the manly arts of hunting and fighting. It's just the natural order of things."
