Meeting his Parents

Your POV

I woke up to Merida crying and I got up to check her diaper and feed her. She looked up at me with hunger as she pressed her face on my chest. "I know little one, you are hungry." I checked her diaper and she was clean. I sat down on the little couch Scrooge set up for me and her as I undid my nightgown strap and began to feed her. "Not one penny! You hear me! If you will excuse me, my newborn and my wife need me," Scrooge bellowed on the phone and came in with his hand on his head. "Hello darling, I take it the men at your work aren't helping you in the slightest?", I asked as I looked at Scrooge with concern. Scrooge sighed and sat down beside me.

"Unfortunately, lass. I try and try to ignore them, but I can't seem to get them out of my feathers!" Merida whimpered from his outburst. "Ssh, it's alright, Merida." Scrooge tensed up and stroked her back gently. "Sorry wee darlin'. Papa didn't mean to frighten ye." I pursed my lips and thought about something. "What about we go on vacation with the kids? I always wanted to meet your parents." Scrooge swallowed hard as he looked up at a picture of his father and mother. "Oh boy, I haven't spoken to them in a long time, lass." I smiled as I began to burp Merida. "Maybe we can see them. I would like for your parents to meet the little ones."

Scrooge looked at me with a small smile and agreed. "Alright lass, I'll call them tomorrow." Merida let out a burp and she was starting to doze off. I got up and set her down in her crib gently and covered her up. Scrooge stared at me with a sly grin. "Lass." I looked at him confused and realized my strap was still off my shoulder. "Oh you naughty man. Come on, let's get back to sleep." I straightened my strap back to its place and had Scrooge lay down beside me. "Sleep well my darling." I gave him a kiss goodnight and cuddled right beside him. "Sleep tight, my lass."

Next Day

"Come on kids! Let's load up the car!" I announced. I was very excited to be meeting Scrooge's parents and we were getting the car ready with Sheamus and Eleanor. Mrs. Beakley and Della stayed with the rest of the kids. I smiled as my family was ready to go and I looked at Scrooge with a worried smile. "Honey? It's going to be alright." Scrooge nodded and kissed me on the lips as we got settled in the car. We drove until we reached Scrooge's parents house, Castle McDuck. Sheamus and Eleanor looked at it in awe and I got up with Merida in her car seat. Scrooge's mother was the first to come out. "Scrooge! Hello son!", she announced as she came out and gave him a big hug.

"Oh! Hello mum!" She smiled at him and looked at me with a huge smile. "This must be your wife, (Y/n)! Oh my goodness! My name is Downy and...you have three children?!" Eleanor and Sheamus were shy as they hid behind my legs. I smiled as Scrooge told them that his mom is their grandma. They both shrieked in happiness and hugged her. My heart was leaping with joy at the sight while I was holding Merida in her car seat. "Oh my! You both have the strength of an McDuck! Come come! Let's get inside!" Scrooge smiled at his mother and helped me with Merida. "See? She loves the kids and missed you so much." Scrooge looked at me with worry. "My mum was always with me. My father on the other hand-".

"Oi! Do I hear visitors?", I heard a man shout from inside the castle. Scrooge rolled his eyes and said "Yes, father!" His dad came out and looked just like Scrooge albeit with gray hair and bushy eyebrows. "So? My own son who cursed my wife and I is back in my house?!" I shrunk in my shoes as I wasn't too sure about this until Downy gave him a small smack. "Oh hush now Fergus! He is here with his wife and we are grandparents!" Fergus' face softened as he stared at Eleanor and Sheamus. "Bless me bagpipes, two grandkids?" I giggled and I corrected him. "Three grandkids, the other one is asleep right now." Fergus looked up at me and came to see me. "My goodness! You must be my son's wife. And this wee darlin' is your newest child?" I nodded as he smiled and lead us into the castle.
