I woke up next to Chris, his warm embrace making me feel safe and loved. "Hey princess, did you sleep well?" he greeted me with a smile, his eyes filled with affection. Rolling over to face him, I returned his smile. "Hey bubs, good morning. I did sleep well," I replied, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. "I'm gonna go have a shower, I'll be back," I added, planting a quick kiss on his cheek before heading into the bathroom with my towel in hand. The sound of the running water filled the room as I stepped into the shower, the warm cascade washing away the remnants of sleep from my body. As I lathered my hair with shampoo, my mind wandered back to the events of last night. Chris and I had shared an incredible connection, one that took me by surprise. The spark between us was undeniable, but I was grateful that we had both decided to take things slow.

Stepping out of the shower, I dried myself off and began to get dressed for the day. It was then that I noticed the massive hickey on my collarbone. Furrowing my brow in surprise, I shrugged it off, deciding not to dwell on it too much. After all, it was just a harmless mark from a night filled with passion and excitement. Deciding to journal about last night when I returned to Chris's room, I sat down with my journal in hand and began to write. "21st of May 2028," I wrote at the top of the page, noting the date of the unforgettable night. "Hi, today was one of the best nights of my life," I began, a smile spreading across my face as I recalled the memories. "I met this guy, Chris Sturniolo, the hottest boy I've ever seen," I continued, my heart fluttering with excitement. "We met on Tinder, and I invited him over, thinking we won't connect in a major way, but I was wrong."

Feeling a rush of emotion, I poured my heart out onto the pages of my journal. "We had such a strong spark, we almost had sex last night, but I'm glad we didn't because we weren't ready for that sort of relationship," I wrote, grateful for the connection we shared. "XOX Angie," I signed off, closing my journal with a satisfied smile. Just then, Nick and Sofia appeared in the doorway, interrupting my thoughts. Chris greeted them warmly, his smile brightening at the sight of his friends. "Hey guys, how'd you guys sleep?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine interest. Sofia responded with a nod, "Good, how about you?"

Feeling a tad awkward, I interjected, "Same." Sensing my discomfort, I added, "Hey, I have to go back to my place. My mum must be worried about me." I turned to Chris, a soft smile on my lips. "It was so good meeting you, Chris. Call me," I said, extending an invitation for him to reach out. Sofia kindly offered to drive me home, and I gratefully accepted her offer. As we made our way back, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the night I had shared with Chris. Despite the brief encounter, it had left a lasting impression on me, one that I would carry with me for a long time to come.

Chris's POV: Driving Angie home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. Meeting someone like Angie was a breath of fresh air compared to my ex, Caitlyn. Angie sat in the front passenger seat, her presence filling the car with warmth and laughter. As we drove, Angie leaned over and planted a soft kiss on my cheek, her affectionate gesture sending a shiver down my spine. "Chrissy, it was so good to meet you. I had a lot of fun when we spent time together," she said, her voice filled with genuine warmth and gratitude.

I smiled back at her, feeling a surge of happiness at her words. "I had a great time too, Angie. Thank you for an unforgettable night," I replied, my heart swelling with affection for this incredible woman beside me. As we reached her house, I pulled up in front of the driveway, the warm glow of the streetlights casting a soft illumination over the scene. Angie turned to me, her eyes sparkling with appreciation. "Thanks for the ride, Chris. I'll see you soon," she said, leaning in to give me a quick hug before hopping out of the car. Watching her disappear into the house, I couldn't help but feel a sense of longing for the next time we would meet. Angie had left an indelible mark on my heart, and I knew that this was just the beginning of something special between us. As I drove away, the memories of our time together filled me with a sense of hope and anticipation for what the future might hold

Angie's POV: The following days were a whirlwind of emotions and excitement as I navigated the newfound connection with Chris. We continued to text and call, sharing snippets of our lives and building upon the foundation laid during our memorable night together. One evening, Chris invited me to join him for a casual dinner. As I arrived at the restaurant, the anticipation bubbled within me. Chris greeted me with a warm smile, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and laughter filled the air, creating a setting that felt both familiar and exhilarating.

As our connection deepened, Chris and I discovered shared interests and passions. Whether we were exploring the city, trying out new restaurants, or simply enjoying each other's company, every moment felt like a chapter in a beautiful story we were writing together. On one particular weekend, Chris suggested a spontaneous road trip to a nearby beach town. The salty breeze, the soothing sound of crashing waves, and the warmth of the sun on our skin created a perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. We strolled along the shoreline, hand in hand, sharing dreams, aspirations, and stories from our past.

As we sat on a blanket, watching the sunset paint the sky in hues of orange and pink, Chris turned to me with a soft smile. "Angie, I feel like I've known you forever," he confessed, his eyes reflecting sincerity. The sentiment resonated with me, and I couldn't help but echo the same feeling. In the midst of our budding romance, we navigated the complexities of life together. There were challenges and disagreements, but each hurdle brought us closer, teaching us more about each other and ourselves. It wasn't always smooth sailing, but the strength of our connection allowed us to weather any storm.

Months passed, and our love story continued to unfold. Chris and I faced life's twists and turns as a united front. The initial spark that had ignited between us evolved into a steady flame, casting a warm and comforting glow on our shared journey.  One evening, as we sat on Chris's balcony under a sky dotted with stars, he took my hand and looked into my eyes with unwavering sincerity. "Angie, you've brought so much joy and love into my life," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I'm grateful for every moment we've shared, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us." Those words echoed in my heart, resonating with the depth of our connection. As I looked at Chris, surrounded by the serenity of the night, I knew that our story was far from over. Together, we had crafted a tale of love, resilience, and shared dreams, and with each passing day, our journey continued to unfold.
