Later that night, Ashlyn didn't talk that much anymore. She didn't even talk when they shifted. It was weird. Especially for the group. She had an emotionless and blank face, not showing an ounce of emotion. She didn't even show any emotion when a phantom nearly attacked her, as if she was accepting it. It was good that Logan managed to shoot it before it could lay it's hand on Ashlyn, but she was still silent.
Her deafening silence was concerning.
When they shifted back, they immediately chatted the group chat.

"Do you guys have any idea why she's like this?" Taylor asked, to which the group shook their head.
"I dunno, but she did look upset when we went home yesterday" Aiden said.
"Why do you think she is upset?" Logan asked. Aiden shrugged.
"I tried to ask if she wanted to come to the bus, but she didn't respond and just walked away" Aiden sighed.
