song: oscen - fumes

After dark emotions consumed Nora, I did everything to help her, but fuck, it was hard. Obviously, not going through the same past as her, I couldn't understand her emotions a hundred percent. But, I really did try to.

For the next two remaining days, we continued to explore the island of Zakynthos and we tried to navigate the balance between relaxation and tension. Despite the shadow of Nora's past hanging over us, we managed to find moments of joy and connection amidst the uncertainty.

We soaked up the sun rays of the sand-covered beaches and even danced under the stars - if two years ago, you told me, I'd be dancing at night on an island alone, let alone with a woman, I wouldn't be able to believe it. I always hid under my cold exterior and I thought I'd keep it up, but then this woman named Nora, swooped me off my feet and made me a wholehearted softie - not that I'd ever in my fucking life admit that out loud. I'm only like that for her.

But beneath the surface, the threat of her ex-boyfriend Liam, loomed large. His presence cast a dark shadow over her happiness. It's a reminder of the pain and fear that still lingers within Nora's heart. A few days ago, she spilled her heart out to me and told me every detail about her last relationship. And it fucking hurt.

As we returned home from our vacation a week ago, my mind churned with thoughts of how to deal with that bastard. His unwelcome intrusion into her life, or actually, our lives, had stirred a fierce protective instinct within me, and I was determined to keep Nora safe at all costs.

I mulled over various scenarios, each one more daunting than the last. Confronting him directly seemed like the most straightforward option, but it also carried the risk of escalating the situation further. I couldn't bear the thought of putting Nora in harm's way, not after everything she had been through.

Perhaps involving the authorities would be the safest course of action. But I knew that the legal process could be slow and unpredictable, and I couldn't afford to wait and do nothing, while Liam continued to threaten her peace of mind.

In the end, I resolved to take matters into my own hands, to do whatever it took to ensure Nora's safety. Whether it meant confronting that moron head-on or finding more creative solutions, I was prepared to do whatever was necessary to rid her life of his toxic presence once and for all.

As I lay awake at night, the weight of responsibility pressing down on me, I vowed to do whatever it took to protect her from the darkness that threatened to consume her. Hell, I will kill that fucker if I have to. And I'll do it without remorse, too.

Through the night, my determination to protect Nora had intensified. With the help of my boxing coach, Dean, whose expertise in computers proved invaluable, we managed to trace Liam's location. We stayed up all night and let me tell you, that bitch was quite easy to find.

As the screen flickered with digital coordinates, a surge of satisfaction coursed through me. If there was one person who would support me stalking someone, then perhaps beating them up, it would be Dean. As though he can be a violent menace, he's a really good man. Too bad he's leaving for New York soon and we probably won't see each other anymore.

With a sense of urgency, I gather my resolve and prepare to face the little challenge. Every fiber of my being is focused on one thing – ensuring Nora could finally feel safe and at peace. With Dean's guidance and my own determination as my weapons, I am ready to make that moron realize how bad he fucked up by coming after my precious girl.

As I drive through the city streets, my composure remains collected. Liam's house looms ahead, a dark silhouette against the night sky. With a determined grip on the steering wheel, I park the car and make my way towards the front door. With practiced hands - all thanks to Dean's instructions, I work the lock on the door, the click of tumblers falling into place echoing in the stillness of the night. With a silent prayer, I push the door open and slip inside, the darkness of the house enveloping me like a shroud.
