W... Wow (part 1) - Leah Williamson x Y/n

LEAH POV

Arsenal v Chelsea
89' minute of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Arsenal have a corner. You could see Mead raise her hand ready to take the corner. Your breathing hitches your currently drawing 1-1 you need this win. The whistle blows and she takes the kick. It's as if time has gone slow, the ball rockets through the air.

The more you blink the more you realise the ball is heading your way. FOCUS LEAH! STAY CALM! Before you know it you've headed the ball towards the net. Closing your eyes you hope and pray it's gone in. You could hear the crowd go wild. Did you score??? Or are the Chelsea fans relieved you missed? Slowly closing your eyes you notice the sea of red jumping for joy, you dart your head towards the goal. You've only gone and fucking done it.

"I did it, I did it" you say dropping to your knees and kissing the floor. You notice the whole team sprint towards you.

"well done Williamson we knew you could do it",  Beth Mead says running up and diving on top of you. Next minute you know you can hear the final whistle being blown and at that minute your whole team jumps on top of you squishing you at the bottom.

After a few moments you all get up and go interact with the fans, your heart beating out of your chest. You look up towards the family and friends section seeing your mum and blowing her a kiss. She's so proud of you.

Y/N POV

You just watched the final game of the UEFA Women's championship league, you really didn't want to be here but Alessia and Ella wanted to come and support there friends. You'd never actually met the Arsenal girls, you kept your self to yourself at all times but you'd heard a lot about them.

The crowd screamed arsenal won 1-0 to Chelsea.
"Fucking get in girls", Toone screams jumping up and down, with lessi joining her. You side eye them definitively not impressed and just wanting to go home to bed.

Beth shouts up to the us, "come down and celebrate with us". They jump to their feet running towards the barrier and jump over running on to the field giving all the girls a hug. You just stay sat down looking around, you could feel your breath getting tighter and tighter.

I can't breathe you kept saying to yourself I can't breath. You got up stumbling over to the tunnel as the girls gave us passes to look around after the game, you quickly came across the women's toilets. Kicking the door open you run into the cubical hyperventilating, why does this keep happening I can't carry on like this. The breathing only got worse. "My inhaler" you cried out as the door opened.

"Hello" a voice said, but it wasn't a voice you knew but it felt safe. You couldn't make out any words and just kept hyperventilating. Not realising your cubicle door swung open. "W wow" you mumbled under your breath.  The girl had captivating blue eyes that sparkle like the ocean. Her luscious blonde hair cascades down her shoulder, adding a touch of sunshine to her infectious smile. That soon changed when she realised what was going on.

"It's ok I'm going to help you through this", she holds both your hands. You have your head down in embarrassment. She grabs your chin and gently holds your head up.
"Look into my eyes and concentrate on your breathing, you're not alone I'm not going anywhere".

Your breathing started to calm down very quickly. You glance down at your hands and snap them away instantly, playing with your rings to avoid embarrassment. "I'm sorry you had to see th-" you where cut off.

"Don't be so silly, I best go though we just won the championships league I best go celebrate" she said excitedly. Before giving you a chance to reply you watch her as she skips out the door. Slowly gathering yourself together you head back to your seat. Some reason all you can think about is the blonde that managed to calm your state so quickly.

LEAH POV

Wow she was stunning. All you could think about was her, how her rich brown hair draped down over her face. Her warm gaze reflects some sort of intelligence and kind feeling, while her hair adds a touch of elegance to her beautiful presents, she's pure beauty. She reminds you of someone, those ocean eyes you've seen them before. Wow was it love at first sight. Don't be silly you kept thinking to yourself. As you ran out through the tunnel and on to the pitch the crowd roared. This is what dreams are about. Alessia comes running over jumping on your back.

"Leah wow that goal was somthing else" she smiled ruffling your hair.

"Oh stop it you it was ok, could have been better." You say playing it off.

"Could have been better you kidding me you just won the champions league" she shouted in excitement.

"Well what can you say I am the Leah Williamson" you said playfully punching Alessia. We both giggle.
"So where is this sister of yours" you question, maybe acting too eager to meet her.

"She's sitting down, she's won't come on the pitch unless she's playing football, she's very shy". Alessia said.
Wow Alessia's sister is shy. You wouldn't imagine that having Alessia as a sister you chuckle to your self.

"Well we best go and receive our trophy" you say wondering over to your team.
"We are all having a party tonight at beth and vivs house to celebrate our win how about the three of you join us." You shouted knowing how wasted you would all be in the next 6 hours.
"Yes I'll see you there, text me the address please", Alessia smiles also thinking about the drinks she was going to consume later.

You headed over to the podium and celebrated the win, the girl from the toilet taking over my mind. Who was she? Will you see her again?

"What's gotten into you" Beth whispers whilst you just stare into space longing to hold the mystery girl one more time.

"Hello earth to Leah, what's going on" Beth starts to get annoyed.

"Uh what sorry" you say realising Beth was talking to you.

"I though you'd be happy Leah you've just scored the goal that's won us the championships league and your not here with us your up in your head, what are you thinking about" Beth says the worry taking over in her eyes.

"Oh it's nothing just thinking about someone" you mumbled catching Beth's full attention.

"Someone??? What... is it a girlll??? Do you like the-" before she could finish you cut her off.

"It doesn't matter, I didn't catch her name or number, I should just forget about it". You mumble starting to get annoyed with yourself.
