I groaned as I got out of bed turning my alarm off. I hate Mondays I thought to myself and began getting ready for school. Once I finished I went downstairs and was greeted by my roommates "look who's awake" lily said and I rolled my eyes "well at least we won't be late today" I chirped back at her "enough chit chat let's go" haewon said ushering us both through the door. We finally arrived on campus and we're headed to our first lecture of the day, "hey y/n wait up!" A voice called me causing me to turn around and when I did I saw sullyoon and almost forgot how to breath. "H-hey" I said trying not to sound awkward "I was wondering if you wanted to help me with a lab study for Ms.Shin?" She asked me "sure" I said as we all entered the classroom. It was finally the end of the day and I got a message from sullyoon "meet me by the gate" the message read and I began walking to the gate when I spoted her. "So where do you wanna do the lab study at?" She asked me "we can go to your place my roommates are a bit of a distraction" I said and she nodded.
Sullyoon p.o.v
We made our way to my apartment, "do you want anything?" I asked y/n as we reached the entrance of my apartment "water's fine" she said and sat our bags down on the table. "Here you are" I sad handing y/n her glass of water "thank you" she said as she too it from me. "So what's the lab study?" She asked me "it's a sleep study" I told her and she looked at me confused "basically I'm going to kind of observe you sleeping if that's not weird" I told her and she shook her head a bit "no it's fine I just wish I had on more comfortable clothing" she said referring to her jeans "you could borrow some of my clothes" I said getting up about to walk to my room "you coming?" I asked her and she followed me.
Y/n p.o.v
I watched as sullyoon looked through her dresser finally pulling out a pair of sweatpants "is this okay?" She asked me "yeah,than you" I said taking the sweatpants from her and going in the bathroom to change. *Timeskip* sullyoon began attempting to get me to fall asleep "what usually helps you fall asleep?" She asked me "I mean I usually just drink a cup of tea to help me fall asleep when I can't do so myself" I told her and she nodded "okay I'll make you some tea, just stay here" she told me and went to the kitchen to make me a cup of tea. I finished the tea and we began the process of agian "okay,I'm gonna start reading this prompt" she said and I laid down as she read. Her voice was so calming and smooth and I eventually began drifting off to sleep.
Sullyoon p.o.v
"Y/n?" I called her name and heard no response so I figured she was sleep. I began writing some of the little things I noticed while y/n slept, as I was writing I heard her talking softly and looked over at her "sullyoon?" She said and I was about to wake her when she continued talking "would you go on a date with me?" She asked leaving me looking at her with surprise on my face. "Y/n,get up" I said shaking her slightly "hmm" she said stirring awake "I'm finished" I told her and she sat up "why time is it?" She asked me and I looked at my phone "9pm" I told her and she began grabbing her things "I gotta go, um call me if you need my help agian" she said about to leave "okay let me walk you out" I told her and walked her out of the apartment.
*Timeskip:3 days later*
I couldn't help but think about what y/n said did she mean it or was she just randomly sleep talking? I asked my self the same thing everyday and I began to harmlessly flirt with her just to see if she likes me "you look pretty with your hair like that" I told her as I sat down next to her "thank you" she said giving me a small smile "so there's something I wanted to tell you" I told her and she looked at me.
Y/n p.o.v
I looked at sullyoon waiting for her to speak "the other day during the sleep study you were talking in your sleep" when she said that I mentally face palmed myself "did I say something embarrassing?" I asked her and she shook her head 'no' "actually you asked me on a date" she said looking down. I was in utter shock "It's okay if you didn't mean it, I just wanted to tell you I'd go out with you anytime" she said flashing me a soft smile causing my stomach to fill with butterflies "I would love to take you out, I was gonna ask eventually but I guess my sleep talking beat me too it" I said chuckling softly.
Later that evening me and sullyoon went to a small family owned restaurant. "I had fun" she said lacing out arms together "me too" we began walking to my apartment since sullyoon insited.
Sullyoon p.o.v
We finally reached y/n's apartment "so would you like to be my girlfriend?" I asked her and she looked at me a smile on her face "of course!" She said and hugged me when she pulled away I couldn't help but stare at her and ultimately let my intrusive thoughts win and kissed her softly, we broke the kiss shortly and looked at each other with Goofy grins on our faces "well I'll see you tomorrow" I said "yeah see you tomorrow" she said and went inside her apartment I was getting ready to leave when y/n came back out "why don't you stay I don't think my roommates would mind" she said "sure" I replied back and she pulled me inside.
