(Tried using the picture on this chapter but I had to Settle with using it as the cover so you at least know what he looks likes in this au- credit of artist is in purple/grey writing and in the bottom left corner) + (if you can't see the picture- basically- he doesn't have any of his accessories(aka mask and goggles) and doesn't have his battle shell. His real shell is damaged and looks a little spiky. He has scars and bruises all over his body and his tail is a lil damaged)
About the AU: Donnie was separated from his family at a young age and ended up growing up on the streets of the youkai city. Living there was rough as there was a lot of rude people there, which is something not great for a soft shell..Donnie didn't live a normal life so he wasn't able to become smart as he grew up, and is mostly feral.
