Mommy's Day Out

Eyes blinking furiously, Tae tried his best not to cry. He had to hold up his shit. He knew – they all knew this day would come. But that mommy instinct in him was fucking up with his head.

"Its okay Tae," Mrs. Jeon coaxed him again, "I will be here. Jungkook's here too. Nothing will happen. You must go and study."

Tae bit his lip and nodded, "But – but its weird. She's crying since morning. Since I started to get ready."

Yeah, it was Tae's first day of college. After the vacation of two months, he was going back to college. Thankfully, since he was in his last year – he would only have two lectures of total four hours.

Mrs. Jeon had been staying with them since two days to prepare Carolina for this day. She was all fine with the nanny, her dad, her grandmom, but suddenly her mood changed. And the moment she realized only Tae was getting ready and not her – she knew Tae was leaving her.

Mrs. Jeon tried to make Tae understand that kids sense these things easily. Plus, Carolina had the habit of dressing up and going outside with them – she is definitely feeling left out too.

But Tae couldn't stop crying. It was weird. Just last week – Carolina had spent an entire day with PJ and Jimin at PJ's house without her parents. She had enjoyed the day so much then why was she crying now.

The door opened and Tae saw Jungkook carrying Carolina who had stopped crying but her eyes were all puffy.

Her tiny hands asking Tae to pick her up. Tae forgot everything his future mother-in-law said and picked her up kissing her cheeks, head and hands.

"Tae – baby," Jungkook stood beside them as Tae refused to leave his baby girl.

Sitting on the bed, Tae declared, "I am not going to college till Carolina is comfortable with this whole situation."

Mrs. Jeon and Jungkook exchanged glances. Mrs. Jeon deicded to shut her mouth because she saw a different color on Jungkook's face. His father mode and possibly husband mode was on. She took a step back as her son moved forward.

"Babe," Jungkook blinked his voice calm and eyes watching the daughter and her appa hugging each other tightly, "I am not having this conversation again. We have had enough of this discussion since last few days. You are going to college. And that's final."

Tae looked up at Jungkook with tears in his eyes.

This was the reason why they weren't having sex since a week. Tae was so furious at Jungkook. He wouldn't let him hug or even kiss his lips.

"But Jungkook –"

Tae's lips whimpered seeing the girl's red nose and wet eyes.

Sighing, Jungkook again tried to explain the situation to Tae.

"Tae – she has to get a habit of this. We can't let this happen. Trust me. She will adjust. Plus, I am always here for her. Mom is here. Your mother will be dropping too. She knows your weakness and she's using it smartly."

Tae hissed at his baby daddy, "She's just two months old for god's sake, Jeon."

Tae had been using Jeon a lot since their fights. Even in front of Mrs. Jeon who would just suppress her giggles. She found their fights utterly cute. She had seen their every side till now. Romantic, erotic (too much of erotic) and now the nagging one too.

Jungkook asked his mother to pack some snacks for Tae and milk bottle for Carolina.

"Come on – we will drop you off," Jungkook grabbed the keys, wallet and phone, "Carolina will come too. If required we will stay for a while in your college. We got diapers and everything in the bag. Let her see where her mommy is going."

Tae didn't correct Jungkook. As Tae had been using Jeon a lot – Jungkook also had been using 'mommy' a lot.

What would Tae do? He was the kid's mommy? He had carried her in his womb for nine months.

"But – mom please tell him," Tae begged as Jungkook opened the door, "She will cry more if she sees me going somewhere."

Mrs. Jeon opened her mouth but Jungkook glared at the two mothers.

"You are getting late mommy," Jungkook rolled his eyes waiting for the two, "Let's go!"

Mrs. Jeon promised Tae that she would come running to her college if things got out of handle. She had learned from PJ and Jimin how to book a cab online since her driver was on a holiday.
