Chapter 9: Ollivander's Wand Shop

After getting their Hogwarts robes along with a few others things, Harry looked through the list of things they needed.

We still need wands said Harry

Wands?, you want Ollivander's, ain't no place better, why don't you boys run along there and wait, I just got one more thing I've got to do said Hagrid

We'll go with you said Wendy

Henry aunt and uncle went to join Hagrid on his little errand as Harry, Henry and Braxton entered Ollivander's Wand Shop as they entered the shop it was full of boxes containing various wands, but there was no one there.

Hello, Hello? Harry called out

Is anyone here? Henry called out

Then the wandmaker himself, Mr. Garrick Ollivander appeared out of nowhere on a ladder he smiled at Harry and his friends.

I wondered when I'd be seeing you Mr. Potter and Mr. Harrow, and young Braxton said Mr. Ollivander

Mr. Ollivander then came down the ladder and looked through the wands looking for the right one.

It seems only yesterday that both your mother and father were in here buying their first wands said Mr. Ollivander to Harry and Henry

You've met our parents? asked Henry

Of course, I remember every wand I've ever sold for instance I remember your mother's wand was a 10" inch red oak wand with a unicorn hair core and your father's wand was a mahogany wand and a dragon heartstring core said Mr. Ollivander

Mr. Ollivander then took out three boxes of wands gave them to each of the boys, they gave them a wave and some strange magic, Harry accidentally pulled some boxes out of the shelves, Henry accidentally broke a vase and Braxton accidentally burned some parchments, they each put their wands back down.

No, no definitely not, no matter said Mr. Ollivander

Mr. Ollivander then took out another set of wands but stopped as he had a thoughtful look on his face.

I wonder he said

He then handed the three wands over to the three boys and a magical glow emanated around them, it was clearly a very powerful feeling, this surprised Mr. Ollivander who was in deep thought and curiosity.

Curious, very curious said Mr. Ollivander

Sorry, but what's curious? Harry asked

As I've said before I remember every wand I've ever sold Mr. Potter, it so happens that the Phoenix whose tail feather resides in you and Mr. Harrow's wands gave another feather, just one other said Mr. Ollivander

After giving back their wands, the boys then heard a tapping on the window of the shop and saw Hagrid and Henry's aunt and uncle at the window and they saw them carrying two bird cages with two owls for Harry and Henry, as they were getting their wands they made a quick stop to Eeylops Owl Managerie to get the boys some pet owls that would be their loyal companions.

Harry, Henry, happy birthday said Hagrid
