AN: Hello dear readers. I am back with another chapter. I finished the rare pairing event so hopefully; the updates will be more frequent. I am not going to promise anything but who knows? Maybe it happens. This chapter is a bit shorter than the rest, then again it is called an intermission break so lives up to its name. I hope you still will like it. Have fun reading.

A little bit earlier.

Quinton and the others were still driving through Heartland City with great speed. They had to get away as fast as possible to escape the Barian rulers. Sure, their friends had diverted their attention by battling them, but who knew how long that would last or if they would be victorious.

"Quattro and Grace's signal is still coming through okay. I just hope they are still alright," Trey mused as he was staring at his bracelet gem.

Quinton had been quite the inventor here. Besides being able to use the power of the crest without draining them, there were some cool other features like tracking or speaking with each other. Not to mention were able to gather entail from one another without being present themselves. In these times, every bit of data was crucial.

"Have faith in your siblings Trey. We all have to have faith in them. There is no use doing anything else," Quinton said, reassuringly. Trey nodded.

"Oh, look Yuma is waking up!" Orbital said and lifted his robotic head. That got everyone's attention and soon Tori was staring into Yuma's ruby eyes.

"Hey Tori, how's it going?" Yuma asked and groaned slightly. "Where are we?"

"We are traveling in a four-wheeled vehicle that is being driven by Quinton," Astral responded with a sad smile. Yuma looked over at his ghostly companion.

"What happened to me?" he asked.

"Extreme battle fatigue caused you to lose consciousness when the Barian emperors appeared," Astral explained. Yuma hissed slightly as he slowly sat up.

"Yeah, that's right. There was a flash and then suddenly, I could see Shark and Zaira in like ancient times," Yuma mused as the memory of prior events entered his skull. "What about the others? Is everybody okay? What happened to Bronk, Grace, and Quattro?" Everyone was looking down for some reason.

"To allow us to escape they remained behind..." Astral mused in a sad tone.

"You mean they are... they are fighting the barian emperors all on their own!" Yuma uttered in pure horror. It did not help that Trey's bracelet tracking his siblings just lost its signal. The timing could not be worse.

"Stop the car! We just lost Quattro's and Grace's signal!" Trey uttered.

Quinton instantly heeded his brother's words and pulled over at the nearest sidewalk. Everyone well enough to walk left the vehicle. Both Quinton and Trey were staring in the direction of the energy beam leading to Barian world. They all knew what that meant. Quattro and Grace had lost their duel and had been sent to the Barian world, and if they had lost, Yuma's other friends might also be gone.

"Hey Quinton, if you lost their signal, does that mean he has been sent to the Barian world?" Yuma asked.

With the barians.

Nash was staring up at the tall building where he could sense Zaira's remanence of barian energy. It worried him a bit. Sure, he figured Zaira had teleported to someplace else and if he managed to pinpoint that location, he was sure he would find her again. However, it did not sit well with him. He had assumed Zaira would have stayed and watched his duel, but he guessed she wanted to prove herself to him by hunting down Yuma. She could be quite unpredictable sometimes.
