Shoebill are famous because of thier death stare... I always end up staring in its eyes too..
Shoebill got it's name from it's long shoe.
They even forget to eat thier food because they can blank out anytime...

You are not scary buddy... Well they often mistakenly attack at branch thinking it's thier pray even though thier focus is strong and patience level high...
What they eat?
They eat insects and fishes, frogs, snakes ect.

Preferred prey includes marbled lungfish, Senegal bichir, various Tilapia species, and catfish.
These large birds will also eat frogs, water snakes, Nile monitors, and baby crocodiles.
More rarely the shoebills will consume turtles, snails, rodents, and small waterfowl.
