Lindsey and Geri were stuck in the school during the after hours. They were lying on the stairs in the stairwell where it connected with the third floor. They were laughing as they gazed up at the ceiling.
"Looks like we're stuck here till school in the morning," said Lindsey.
"Afraid so," said Geri, yawning deeply. "It was awesome we had ziti for lunch today."
"I love cafeteria food," said Lindsey. "This may feel weird, but lying on the stairs feels good!"
"I have to agree with you there!" Geri said, with another yawn.
Lindsey and Geri hoped that the principal wouldn't catch them here early tomorrow morning. Their parents was wondering where they were, but they never knew they were locked up in the school. But one thing was for sure.
It would never happen again.
