Chapter Six

He looked at me, mom, and dad, gave us each a quick nod and a wink then began to twist and turn. Violet smoke was pouring off his body, as he screamed in pain. I wanted to run to him, but Declan held me tight. Then he started to growl as his body contorted. With another snap and a loud pop, the smoke cleared. There standing ten feet in front of us was a seven-foot-tall beast. It had a long snout, pointy razor-sharp teeth, and he was covered in yellow, black, white, and purple fur. He looked positively ferocious.

I looked around the circle at everyone standing there staring with their mouths hanging open. When in a puff of violet smoke, he was Garrett again. I was in complete and utter shock. So much so that when I opened my mouth to talk all I could say was,

"YOU'RE A FUCKING WEREWOLF!!!!!!"
