Gra Valkas Empire (a.k.a. the Eighth Empire) Information Bureau

The row of electronic receivers beeped relentlessly. One could easily mistake them for emitting Morse code, but the pattern was actually different

Gellas: Your Excellency, We lost contact with one of our two spies in Rodenius And also we lost contact with our submarine sent to Rodenius

Valiska: Impossible!!! How can we lose contact with them!!! Those in Rodenius are just a bunch of primitive and barbaric people!!! You know that?!?

The man referred to as 'Your Excellency' is a tact commissioned officer, very furious with the news given by his subordinate, losing one of the two spies sent to Rodenius and losing the submarine was a huge blow to Gra Valkas, because it is possible that information about the Empire could be discovered by the Soviets or other countries

Gellas: We don't know either, they were unreachable a few weeks ago, but fortunately our other spy managed to come home and give a report

The Commissioned Officer then calmed down and spoke again

Valiska: Give me the summary

Gellas: Sir! It seems that the Louria Kingdom's invasion of the Principality of Qua-Toyne and the Quila Kingdom, or now called Socialist Republic of Qua-Toyne and Quilla People's Republic have ended in failure due to the intervention of the Soviet Union. With the royal house gone, Louria is transitioning into a what they called it Socialist State like those in Qua-Toyne and Quilla!

Valiska: What? Our analysis anticipated that Louria would be overwhelmingly victorious and the entirety of the Rodenius continent would be under their rule... I have never heard of this country 'Soviet Union'...

Gellas; Due to Soviet's intervention and their entry into the war, the situation turned around immediately. The Louria Kingdom's 4,400 ships were one-sidedly destroyed by a Soviet fleet. On the ground, Louria's soldiers were defeated without even being able to inflict a single hit on the Soviet forces

The report continues

Gellas: Furthermore, analyzing eyewitness information on the attack on Louria's capital Jin Hark and their northern port, the Soviet Union possesses light cruisers in the 5000-ton size range and also has one 10000-ton heavy cruiser. There were also observations of a aircraft carriers in the 25000-ton size range. The cruisers were equipped with guns ranging from 100-130mm, but only single twin turrets were observed on the ships. The aircraft carriers were only observed with several rotary-wing aircraft on its deck

Valiska: Were ant fixed-wing aircraft spotted?

Gellas: No sir, only rotary-wing aircraft of various design and we have no eyewitness info on any fixed-wing aircraft. However, from what we heard from the locals about the ones that shot down their wyvern corps deployed over the capital, they seem to have fixed-wing aircraft. While the Soviet Union attacked the capital, our staff on the ground anticipated the next battle to be in Beadsure and went there so they weren't able to verify the Soviet attack on the capital. Our next eyewitness info will be from a town that was liberated by the Soviets

Valiska: Just one peashooter on those cruisers? What a horrible design philosophy their military took. It must have been enough against the enemies they faced. Our military is still developing rotary-wing aircraft so they got the edge there. However, considering their number of guns and the manner in which they could deploy them, they must have come from a peaceful world

Their conjectures continued

Valiska: In comparison to the countries of this world, their technology must be pretty isolated. They're also a transferred country like us... I guess there's nothing to be scared of. They may inflict some destruction here and there but they probably won't be much in the bigger picture
