Sword King Shihan looked down at the venue of the military festival from the castle

Shihan: So those are Soviet warships... They're like fortresses!

Military commander/Knight-Captain Magreb nodded in approval to Shihan's impression

Magreb: Goodness... We've already heard of them previously from Gahara but to think that such large, metallic ships could float in the ocean... I have been to the Parpaldia Empire multiple times before but I have never seen such massive ships, let alone metallic ships!

At the end of their sight were 8 ships from 2nd Ulyanovsk Carrier Battle Group, part of the Soviet Navy

Magreb: Sword King! The Soviet ships will soon be beginning their attack on our decommissioned warships

'I want you to show me Soviet power!' was what Sword King Shihan directly asked of Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was their response. Off the coast opposite to the guided-missiles cruisers were 4 of the Fenn Kingdom's decommissioned warships which were repurposed as targets. They were 4km away from SN Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya. Sword King Shihan looked at them from a telescope. He heard that only one of the ships from 2nd Ulyanovsk Carrier Battle Group, called SN Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya guided-missiles cruisers, would be conducting the attack. All around the ship were points where its lines met like a polygon

Shihan: Are they really going to attack from that range? Even our fleet's strongest warship, the flagship Sword God, cannot attack at such range

The Sword King raised his doubts.

Magreb: Hmm... They may intend to get closer to a point where they can attack those ships

The single 130mm Naval cannon mounted on the front of the Slava-Class guided-missiles cruisers of the Soviet Navy, SN Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya, began to rotate. Using radar to accurately measure the distance to the target ships and taking into account the muzzle velocity, the computer precisely calculates the shell's trajectory. Due to the gun's stabilizer, the barrel is stabilized even when shaking due to the ocean, allowing the gun to face its target without the slightest inkling of being off. The gun spouted smoke as it unleashed two 130mm shell. After a short delay, Shihan and the others managed to hear the sounds of it firing

Bam... Bam... Bam... Bam...

Four shots. The number of booms they heard is the same number as the number of target ships. Immediately afterwards, the target ships were blown to smithereens as wooden parts splashed onto the water and up into the air. The 4 target ships were blown to the point where they couldn't be recognized as they slowly disappeared into the ocean in such a short amount of time

Shihan: ...Woah... I have... no words... This is terrific!!!

Sword King Shihan and the other Fenn officials were awed by the destructive power shown before them which defied their sense of attack. A single ship landed exactly 4 attacks on 4 targets with unparalleled accuracy and easily sent them to the bottom of the sea. In addition, the speed at which it carried out the attacks was exceedingly fast, seemingly leaving no gap for breaks in between attacks. Everyone who was watching understood that not even the superpower, the Parpaldia Empire, could carry out such a feat

Shihan: Let's immediately take measures to establish diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union! Naturally included in the terms is a non-aggression treaty! It'd also be nice to secure a mutual security treaty...
