If you look up, you'll see something, something that cannot be explained. Something so horribly terrifying your mind forgets it immediately. Then, you'll look up again. And forget. And you'll get stuck in a loop. Like when you look at your watch, then look again a second later. That's why people go missing in this place, they get caught in the loop. And they never escape. After a while, they die due to starvation or the cold. There is no way to end the loop yourself, you need someone else to pull you out. But whatever is up there doesn't want that, it doesn't want you to escape. It wants to trap you. So it pulls you into the forest and hides you there. With every life it claims the harder it is to pull someone away. And the sooner they reach the forest.
