bang chan: building everything and keeping track of everyone since he was the one that got everyone in this mess ...

lee know: in charge of finding all furniture for all nine of you ... he didn't volunteer for this, trust me

changbin, han, i.n: the three food hoarders. that's at least 48 food items a day !!

hyunjin, felix, seungmin: barricades every open wall or entrance if once night comes, as well as keeping track of food.

y/n: truly there to keep everyone sane, but also gathers first-aid kits like your life depends on it.

the day ? tuesday, day 38 (is this accurate ?? dunno. just go w it) i know. you've all somehow survived 38 days in a store while being hunted down ...

"i've gathered nine apples ... be grateful !!"

changbin yelled.

"great. one for each of us."

hyunjin sarcastically smiled.

jisung stared at changbin with a blank expression as he drops a whole pizza box and a few hotdogs on the table.

"be like jisung."

lee know said from on top of a bunk bed.

you were fidgeting with a rubik's cube as the others bickered.

"just shut up. who knows how long we have until —"

seungmin was interrupted by the lights shutting off.

the store went quiet.

hyunjin and felix quickly went to barricade the walls.

"hey, thanks, y/n !"

jeongin snatched the rubik's cube from your hand, making you look at him with a 'come on' facial expression.

he playfully tossed it into the air, seeming to have the time of his life.

"jeongin, stop before you drop it."

chan warned.

"i'm not gonna drop it, relax."

one final toss and it flew to the floor.

just to clear up, base was on top of a few supply racks with wood boards and whatnot.

it landed with a loud thud, leading you to wonder if it broke.

you stared at him with a livid countenance.

"i have been working on that for days. it's been the only thing keeping me —"

felix placed a hand over your mouth.

"you're going to attract attention, y/n. shh."

he whispered.

you threw his hand off of your mouth.

"i don't care ! now i'm going to have to search the whole store for another one !!"

you pointed at the distance.

chan sighed.

"i'll go down and get it. and if it's broken, i'll fix it."

he insisted.

you looked at him.

"not right now you aren't."

you replied.

he shrugged.

"if it makes you happy, i will."

he got down from the top of a bunk bed and smiled at you, placing a hand on your shoulder.

"then i'll go with you."

hyunjin volunteered.

"no, i can do it alone. i'm sure it didn't travel too far."

he sighed.

"no. just wait until morning if you're so persistent."

you stopped him.

"i'm not listening to your bickering all night, y/n."

he laughed while speaking.

"i can wait, i swear !!"

you grabbed his hand.

"calm down."

he moved towards one of the barricades.

"chan, don't."

felix stood up from his beanbag chair.

"i'll be back before you know it."

"chan, you're out of your mind."

seungmin grabbed the barricade to make sure it stayed in place.

chan shook his head.

"you guys are overthinking this. i'll be back in less than a minute."

he moved the barricade quickly before anyone could stop him.

the eight of you just stared at where he exited from in shock.

"someone go after him !!"

you pointed.

lee know shook his head.

"he's gonna point us right back up here."

"well we can't just let him die !!"

you felt yourself getting angrier by the second.

"he can defend himself."

changbin said, taking a bite of an apple.

you clenched your fists, going to move the barricade.

"woah, woah, woah !!"

hyunjin quickly grabbed your waist from behind and pulled you backward harshly, his back crashing on the floor and yours on his chest.

"let go of me !!"

you struggled as hyunjin kept you in place.

"he'll be back."

"let me go !!"

you demanded and hyunjin placed a hand over your mouth.

you fought him for what seemed like forever as the others anticipated chan's arrival once more.

but it never came.
