lee know os 2 - your voice

it was eight am.

you and lee know are pursuing your dream jobs happily, even if you cannot be by each other's side while doing so.

you were sitting up in your bed because yuqi had brought you breakfast-in-bed, which was odd, but you didn't complain.

it wasn't until you turned on your phone that you realized that minho had called you many times.

you rushed to call him, worried that something may have gone wrong.

he accepted the call.

"minho ? what's wrong ?? why did you call me so much ??"

you said with small panic laced in your voice.

it wasn't until you heard a small laugh from the other side of the phone that you sighed in disappointment.

"i just wanted to hear your voice. i want to make it the first thing i hear every morning from now on, alright?"

you hid your face in your hands as you set the phone on the bed.

"don't say that."

you scoffed, getting out of bed while the call was put on speaker.

the call lasted two hours of you and minho talking, making the other smile and get flustered.

you were by the mirror in your bedroom, doing your makeup, when yuqi walked in.

"y/n, i'm gonna go check the mail."

she said before turning her back to go back outside.

"kay."

you replied, putting mascara on.

"you and yuqi still live together?"

minho asked.

"yeah. dunno what i'd do without her."

"and you both still have this picture of soonie on the table next to the couch?"

"yeah, we--"

you paused, dropping your mascara onto the sink.

minho hung up the phone as soon as you stopped talking.

you dashed outside of your room and was shocked to see minho standing in the living room with a smile.

yuqi was standing behind the counter with a mischevious grin.

you ran into minho's arms, wrapping your legs around his waist.

he caught you easily, connecting your lips with his.

the two of you remained connected, lips locked together, leading yuqi to dismiss herself from the room.

the two of you locked eyes, smiling like smitten idiots.

"what are you doing here??"

you said, pressing your forehead to his.

"guess who's staying over for a week?"

"WHAT??"

you squealed, hugging him closer to you.

minho kissed your forehead, in awe with your reaction.

he set you down on the ground gently, keeping your hands intertwined.

yuqi walked back in, carrying the tray she brought in for you.

you looked at minho.

"suddenly i feel tired."

you fake yawned.

minho rolled his eyes and followed you to your room.

you jumped on top of your bed and pulled the blankets over you.

he shook his head with a smile and slid beside you.

you turned to face him, laying on your side.

his eyes were soft with admiration, occasionally glancing down at your lips.

you wrapped your arms around his sides and lifted your head up a bit to press your lips to his.

this kiss was more soft and sweet, making your heart flutter in your chest.

the mere touch of his fingertips made you weak, allowing you to remember why you fell for him once more.

his charm, his smile, his touch.

everything.

and you would lay here in his arms forever if you could.

minho's hand delicately rubbed your back as your lips collided in sync, adding more intimacy than there had been before.

you attempted to pull away, but he stopped you.

"not yet."

he whispered, continuing to connect your lips.

"minho—"

"don't speak."

"but didn't you say you loved my voice earlier—"

"yes, but i forgot how much i loved your lips as well."

he smirked at you, watching your eyes widen.

you looked down, hiding your flustered face from him.

you could hear him laugh as he pulled you closer to him, embracing you gently.

minho gently tilted your chin upward to press his forehead on yours.

"i love you."
