6. The Visit

•Author's POV•

The April month was over without much chaos over the launching of the new wedding collection by the month of May. The designers were working full fledgedly for their upcoming projects. The Visit of The boss in the office was once again back to normal, that is Wednesdays and Saturdays.

It was the mid of May. Only four months left for the launch. It was going to be on the first week of October.

•Ruhanika's POV•

A certain idea was not letting me in peace. There's this one annoying trait of me. I can't be in peace untill and unless I execute the plan that is budding in my mind. F*ck this.

Entering the office, the first thing that I knew I had to do was discuss my idea and get it approved by my Boss.

Ab boss se yaad aya, we didn't have any more lunches, but after that, there had a comfortable silence and an understandable conversation between us, regarding work only.

Entering the cabin, my co-designers were already there.

"Guys, I have a plan" was the first thing I said and they gathered near me, understanding my cue.

"Dhamakedar plan hai yeh" Meera shouted as soon as I finished discussing my plan

"Bilkul" Priyanka approved

"Sab kuch thik hai, par mujhe nahi lagta ki hume yeh execution office mein krna chahiye?" Meera said

"Exactly, walls have ears too Ruhanika di. Aur inn sab dino mein main yeh to acche se samajh gayi ki isss office mein Taneja ki chela bohot sare Hain" Vaani presented her thoughts.

"Woh sab baad mein, first we need to get this idea approved, uske baad yeh sab sochna"

"I know how to do this" Priyanka said looking towards Vaani

I and Meera followed her gaze and understood her sign. Whereas Vaani understood the whole thing and huffed.

"Fine, but I have a condition" Vaani said with a smirk on her face.

The looks Vaani was giving towards me made me think twice about the proposal we gave to her because working these months with her, I could trace her way of thinking

"So, my condition is......" Vaani completed and I was in shock

"No way I'm doing it. Pagal hoon kya main?" I shrieked in horror

"Yes way you're doing it, and that too Aaj" Vaani said and other's supported her

"Aaghh! Finee!". I huffed

•After the office hour•

"Ruhanika di, chalo, hume kahin Jana hai, yaad haaina aapko?" She said wiggling her eyebrows in a funny way

"Yaar Vaani, I was thinking of over timing today. Hum koi aur din chalte hain. Thik hai na?" I acted innocent

"Nahi, thik nahi hai. Kitne ghatiya acting thi yeh di. Chalo late hho Raha hai" saying this, she started dragging me with her. I managed to shut down by laptop and grabbed my bag and phone

We had booked a cab because I denied to go in her lavish car. Actually the thing is, Vaani suggested that I personally should visit my boss to discuss this idea as the office wasn't a safe place to do so and that is the sole reason I am accompanying her to her home to meet my boss. Yes, she lives in the royal mansion and I'm visiting there with her.

When I broke the news to Priya, she was going haywire with it. But one thing that she told me was continuously catching my attention

"Dekhna, Teri kismat badalne wali hai. Mujhe ek gut feeling sa ho rahi hai" her words, not mine.
