14 - You Are Good Enough

They sit down in a triangle after Chloe grabs a football and they play passies while talking about the game against the Netherlands

Eventually Georgia comes back with Alessia

Alessia sits behind Lila who moves to sit between Alessias legs while Alessia hugs Lila from behind

Chloe passes the ball to Georgia who joins the circle

Chloe: Who do you think is gonna be in the starting line up for the next match G?
Georgia: Uh... Probably... Mearps in goal or Hannah. Leah, Lucy, Lotte and Alex in Defence. Fran, Lila and me in Mid. And then Beth, Laur and Lessi up front.
Lila: Sounds like a strong starting XI to me but we could change one or two names don't you think?
Georgia: Ok. Who would you have then Lils?

Georgia passes her the ball

Lila: I'd have Mearps in goal. Leah, Lucy, Esme and Lotte in Defence. Keira, Georgia and Ella in Mid. And finally Lessi, Chloe and Laur up front.
Alessia: You wouldn't put yourself in the starting line up?
Lila: No. I'd always come on as a sub.
Alessia: But your one of the best players on the team.
Lauren: That's true you are.
Lila: Yeah well... Even the best players get put on the bench sometimes.
Chloe: Yeah but Lils sometimes the best players are the ones who get put on the pitch the most. Your one of them.
Lila: Yeah but I might not be put on until later.
Alessia: Stop doubting yourself baby. You will be in the starting line up and you'll smash it. Even if it is a friendly.
Lauren: She's got a point.
Lila: * smiles* Yeah I guess.
Georgia: We should go back inside. Its getting cold.
Lila: Yeah alright.
Lauren: Last one inside is a rotten egg!

Lila squels as they scramble to get up and race inside

Lila overtakes Alessia and Chloe

Alessia: Oi get back here you!
Lila: * giggles* Make me.

Lila wins and gets inside first followed by Chloe, then Alessia, then Georgia and then Lauren

Lauren: * smiles* I was asking for that one.
Lila: Yeah. Next time don't say last one there's a rotten egg. Maybe then you won't lose in a raise against anyone else.

They laugh

Chloe high fives Lila

Chloe: Nice going Lils.
Lila: Thanks Chlo.
Alessia: Wanna come to our room girls? I'll invite Ella.
Lila: Yeah come to our room.
Chloe: Ok.
Georgia: I'm gonna spend time with Le and Kei.
Lauren: Sounds good to me.
Alessia: I'll invite Lotte too.
Lila: Ok. We'll go to up to our room. * kisses Alessias cheek* Don't be too long Less. I love you.
Alessia: Love you too.

Lila, Lauren and Chloe go upstairs to Lila and Alessias room

Chloe sits on Lilas bed

Chloe: So what's the deal with Alessia? She's been awfully weird lately.
Lila: She's jealous of what we had or have. I told her nothing will compare to how I feel about her, which is true. Because I love her and she's my whole world.
Lauren: Gosh and we thought Lessi was down bad.
Lila: * chuckles lightly* Shut up.
Chloe: So she's jealous of me?
Lila: Yup. I told her not to worry 'cause nothings gonna happen between us again. We're friends nothing more, nothing less.
Chloe: That's right.

Alessia comes up with Mary and Ella

Lila sits on Alessias bed

Mary, Ella and Lauren sit together on Lilas bed with Mary on the end and Ella in the middle of Lauren and Chloe

Alessia lies ontop of Lila, her head on Lilas stomach, lying between her legs, her hands on Lilas waist

Lila: * plays with Alessias hair*
Alessia: * sighs*

Chloe decides to call her boyfriend, Scott

Lauren, Ella and Mary scroll on their phones

Lila puts her headphones on and listens to Howling by Noah Kohan and she continues playing with Alessias hair

Alessia: * kisses Lilas stomach*

Alessia kisses up to Lilas neck, fully lying ontop of Lila now

Alessia: * kisses Lilas cheek*
Lila: * smiles and kisses Alessia*
Alessia: * kisses back*

Alessia moves and straddles Lila, taking off her headphones, chucking them to the other side of the bed

Lila: * places her hands on Alessias thighs and breaks apart from her* As much as I love this, we've got company.
Ella: Plus we can hear you.
Lila: Airpods exist Tooney.
Mary: True. They do.

Chloe leaves the room, looking annoyed

Lila: * frowns* What's wrong?
Ella: * shrugs*
Lila: I should go check on her.
Alessia: * slightly jealous* Oh ok. 
Lila: * kisses Alessias forehead* I love you. I won't be long.
Alessia: I love you too.

Lila leaves, following Chloe to Chloe and Marys room

She knocks on the door

Chloe doesn't answer

She knocks again

Chloe doesn't answer, but Lila hears Chloe shouting through the door

Lila knocks again and this time Chloe answers

Lila: Is everything ok Chlo?
Chloe: Everything's fine. Go to the girls. I won't be back.
Lila: Chlo--
Chloe: I said go Lila!

Lila flinches at her best friends words

Lila: Ok. I'm sorry.

Lila leaves and goes back to her and Alessias room

Alessia can tell she's upset

Lila doesn't say anything and just lies ontop of Alessia

Lila: * snuggles into the crook of Alessias neck*
Alessia: * wraps her arms around Lila and draws patterns on her back* You ok baby?
Lila: I don't wanna talk about it right now.
Alessia: Ok. * kisses her forehead*

Alessia continuously draws patterns on Lilas back and kisses her forehead every so often

Lauren: Where's Chlo?
Lila: Not coming back.
Mary: What?
Lila: She snapped at me. Its rare that she does. It scares me sometimes.
Ella: Are you ok mate?
Lila: Kind of.
Lauren: Just... Let her take time. She'll say sorry eventually.
Lila: I know.
