Felix
I woke up late the following morning, having slept soundly all night. After opening my eyes and stretching, I lay there staring at the ceiling for a long time, a wide smile stuck on my face. But while my eyes were pointed at the ceiling, my view was somewhere else entirely.
I couldn't stop replaying the events of last night in my head - both the good ones and the bad, since Wooyoung had been there for all of them. I could remember everything in vivid detail, as if I was watching a movie. Every time I saw Wooyoung's handsome face, I made time slow down so I could stare at it uninterrupted for a while.
But my favourite moment was, without question, when Wooyoung had murmured "I love you" into my neck. I had nearly died of happiness when it happened for real, and now seeing it in my head, my heart was filled to overflowing all over again.
After I'd luxuriated in bed for a good half-hour, I forced myself to get up. I had agreed to meet up with Wooyoung again this afternoon, and there were chores that needed to be done before then. So I spent the next couple of hours cleaning the house and buying groceries to restock my pantry and fridge.
Once that was all taken care of, I stopped for lunch, reheating some leftover bulgogi and rice that I had in the fridge. As I was eating, I thought about what Wooyoung and I could do together. I didn't want to just sit around in the dog café and talk; I wanted to do something different, something meaningful.
I chewed slowly for a while, deep in thought. Then, suddenly, I had an idea. I quickly swallowed what was in my mouth so I could grin from ear to ear. I was so excited by my idea that I started bouncing in my seat.
Forcing myself to calm down, I glanced at my watch to see how much longer I had before I was due to meet Wooyoung. I had half an hour. Eyes going wide, I quickly shovelled the last of the food into my mouth, then took my bowl to the sink while I was still chewing.
Flying into my bedroom, I quickly got changed into a nicer outfit, then brushed my teeth and put on a touch of makeup. Grabbing my wallet, phone and keys, I hurriedly put on my shoes before leaving the apartment.
As I walked down the road towards the dog café, I checked my messages and saw there was one from Wooyoung, sent this morning.
Woo baby 💕
Good morning, beautiful!
Hope you're having a lovely day.
See you at 2! 💖I blushed and couldn't help a smile erupting on my face. I sent back "Thanks, but I'm lonely without you! 🥺 See you soon - I can't wait! 😁 ", then put my phone back in my pocket.
Practically skipping down the road, I soon arrived outside the dog café where Wooyoung was waiting with a warm smile.
"Hi, gorgeous," he greeted me, grabbing my hand and pulling me in for a quick kiss.
I blushed a deep red and averted my eyes the moment the kiss ended, glancing around in a panic to see if anyone had seen us.
Wooyoung just chuckled, brushing my cheek gently with his thumb.
"Don't worry, there's no one here but us."
I wasn't convinced. "Y-yeah, but ... someone could come along at any moment..."
Wooyoung looked up and down the empty street, a look of surprise painting his features.
Then he looked back at me, a pout forming on his lips. "I thought you wanted me to woo you!"
"I do, but ... not like this. At least ... not just yet."
Wooyoung cupped my cheek, then, and looked into my eyes, his expression morphing into one full of understanding.
