TWO WEEKS AGO

Atlas plugged his airpods in and puts his playlist on shuffle as he sits in the middle of his cousins; Ben and Aiden.

The bus then starts to move again, pulling to house that was just a house down. Aiden won't stop yapping, squeezing Atlas and Ben as the fake blonde can't keep himself off of the window.

A girl with twin braided hair ran through the door of her house, holding a thermal cup in her hand as she quickly ran to the bus.

She walked through the crowded bus, she saw some new guys, one gawking at the junkyard of abandoned buses, one holding him back and the other getting squeezed in the middle.

The girl continued to walk before she seat at one of the empty seats, which is the seat infront of the three boys.

"Hi!" Aiden blurted with his face just a few inches away from the girl.

The two made eye contact. His sudden loud greeting startling the red head, making her fall against the bus seat. "Gah!"

The boy just continue to smile as he saw the redhead falling against the bus seat. "Is that your house?" He started, "what's up with the whole 'bus graveyard' thing?"

"It's a junkyard with buses..." The redhead replied.

"That's it?" "Yeah?"

"Well that's disappointing." Aiden said, disappointment clearly displayed on his face, but still kept his smile. "I was hoping for some kind of lore or paranormal jazz," He sat back down on his seat.

"Anyway" The fake blonde started again. "I'm Aiden! And these are my cousins, Atlas and Ben!" He said, Ben nodded his head and Atlas smiled softly, greeting the girl.

"We just moved here a week or so ago from Virginia. Can't remember what town it was though." Aiden continues to yap.

"Oh hey, we live just a house down from you!" He added. "Since we live so close, we should hang out often."

"Sorry." The twin braided girl said as she put her hand up, "Nothing personal but, I'm a bit tired and not in much of a conversation mood."

Aiden continues to smile, "It's fine, I get it. He answered. "You're just shyyy rightt?"

The girl's expression turned into a confused one.

"It's alright, I'm good at talking, so it'll be fine." The fake blonde said confidently as he grinned.

The three boys continued to follow behind the girl and the fake blonde continues to yap as they went outside the bus, walking through the school.

"Woah this is a small school." Aiden thought out loud.

Atlas walks behind the three teenagers. His eyes are glued on his phone, busy texting his friends from his old school. Not giving any attention to his crowded surroundings.

All of a sudden, a dirty blonde haired boy bumped into the tall black haired boy. Atlas saw the shorter boy dropping all of his books as a loud thud was heard. The boy rub the pack of his head, feeling hurt because of the fall.

"...ah, I'm so sorry!" The shorter male immediately exclaim, trying to gather all his books that's on the floor.

"No no, it's fine... I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings.." Atlas said to the boy as he helped him pick up his books, still having that gentle smile on his face.

The shorter boy was shock for a second, he thought that the taller boy would be angry. A rare occurrence, he couldn't help but smile slightly as the taller boy smiled at him and helped him with his books.

'He's quite pretty...' Atlas thought silently.

The shorter male fixed his glasses, "Oh um, thank you.." He say as the other male hands him his books.

"A puppy?.." Atlas accidentally thought out loud, the words came out like a whisper.

"Huh?" The shorter male questioned, making Atlas froze in his spot as he realized that he just said it out loud.

"Nana!! C'mon, we gotta pick up our schedule!" Aiden called out from afar.

'Thank you, Aiden. I'll buy you the nerf gun that you wanted.' Atlas thought.

"Ah, excuse me, I better get going. Have a nice day!" Atlas said with his usual soft smile to the shorter male before he sprinted his way to his cousin.

"I haven't got your name yet..." The short boy with glasses muttered with a sigh as the taller male was already gone.
