The four teenagers ran to get to the room in time as the monsters chased them. Atlas realized that the others are still behind him, so he grabbed Ben's hand while Ben is also dragging Aiden.

"Wait! What about Ashlyn?" Aiden looked to his cousins, all three of them still running towards the room.

Atlas looked over his shoulder, seeing the ginger haired girl a few feet apart. 'Shit.'

"You guys go!" He said as he stopped running to wait for Ashlyn, the two boys looked at him hesitantly before they both continued to run.

The tall black haired boy watches the two boys continuing to run. Once he's a little close to Ashlyn, he grabbed her shirt and ran, picking her up like a kitten.

"WHAT THE HELL?????" The ginger haired girl tried to protest but then decided to let him be when she sees the monsters getting closer.

Ben and Aiden reached the room, panting heavily. "Where's Atlas?!" Tyler questioned, the fake blonde just pointed at Atlas who was still running while holding Ashlyn by her shirt.

Logan peeked out of the door, "Ah! I see them!" He said.

One of the phantom tries to grab Atlas's shoulder but ended up scratching him instead, he kicked it in the stomach and continue running. Once they're inside the room, they closed the door shut and lock the door. The two of them finally relaxed and they caught their breaths.

"You ran quite fast. You got here just in time." The fake blonde said, patting his cousin's back.

The tall black haired boy caught his breathes, panting softly,"I play hockey, remember?" He answered with a chuckle, leaning his back against the wall.

Ashlyn looked at Atlas with slight guilt in her eyes. She knew that Atlas received the wound on his shoulder because he waited for her. "Hey, you alright?" She asked in concern.

Atlas gave a her a reassuring smile, "I'm fine, it's just a scratch."

"It looks quite bad though..." Logan said worriedly.

BANG BANG!

The group flinched as they heard the banging sounds from the other side of the door.

"We should... put the couch up against the door."

The group sat on floor in silence, some are trembling because of the shock. Aiden break the silent with his chuckle, causing Tyler to be more annoyed by him.

"Why are you laughing this time?" The brunette questioned.

"It's like we're in a zombie movie."

"And that's supposed to be funny?"

"Yeah."

Tyler looked at him weirdly, "Is he insane or someth—" He wanted to ask Atlas but stopped himself when he saw the black haired guy also chuckling softly to himself. No wonder they're blood related.

"Hm?" Aiden looked at Ashlyn's scratch, "your arm is scratched up? I thought I got you out of the way in time?" He asked.

"...you did." Ashlyn answered. When she parted his lips to speak again, Atlas also gave his attention to her injury.

"It's from the Sorrel Weed House, right?" Atlas asked, finishing the sentence that the ginger haired girl wanted to say. Ashlyn nodded in confirmation.

The room went quiet again before Tyler decided to speak up.

"You mean you knew it was real and didn't think to mention it to any of us?!" The brunette exclaimed in frustration as he stands up.

Ashlyn looked at him, trying to still be patient. "I didn't tell anyone because I didn't think it was real. And right now isn't exactly a good time to talk about it, we should be coming up with a plan or—"

"And why should we listen to you? Atlas got hurt trying to help you. This is all probably your fault in the first place." Tyler stated.

And that was when Ashlyn's patience finally snapped.

Atlas just froze when he heard Tyler bringing his name into the argument, staring at the two nervously.

"Alright, fine." Ashlyn stood up from her sitting position.

"I get where you're coming from. Maybe I should've said something, maybe I should've been quicker with my actions so that Atlas wasn't scratched by that monster."

"Um—" Atlas tried to protest but stopped himself, maybe it wasn't the right moment for him to speak up. He wanted to Ashlyn to know that it wasn't her fault, though. He was the one who decided to wait for her, she didn't asked him to.

"And if blaming me helps you deal with the situation better, so be it." She grabbed Tyler's collar.

"Hey, what are you-!"

"But if you aren't going to make yourself useful, make yourself scarce. Playing the blame game and figuring out what's going on can come after we are safe enough to talk it out."

"The facts are those creatures can kill us at any moment. Instead of arguing, our time is better spent coming up with a plan."

"So unless you are going to help me do that," She starts to let go of his shirt, "keep your trap shut and don't cause trouble."

Tyler stares at her dumbfounded while the others had their mouths slightly agape.

"Go off queen..." Atlas hyped her up, the words coming out soft, almost like a whisper. He looked at her like a proud parent.

Aiden let out a whistle, "well that was unexpected."

"And you need to stop taking this so lightly!" She scolded.

"Aye, aye!"
