"Hi... can I sit here?" Logan said nervously to the black haired boy. "Of course," Atlas answered with his usual soft smile, scooting over to give Logan some space to sit.

Mr. Thomas checked his watch, "Okay everyone, I'm sure you already know, but I'm going over today's schedule for the last time." He stated.

"It takes eight hours to get to Savannah. In about four hours, around noon, we'll stop to get something to eat." He said, continuing to explain the schedule. He said that once they get to Savannah, their groups will have two hours to eat, explore the area and etc.

After that, they have to meet back at the bus and head to the motels. Mr. Thomas also asked if they already have the other teachers numbers.

"Alright, then let's get this show on the road!" Mr. Thomas exclaimed.

Atlas put his airpods back on, listening to his playlist. Logan is reading a book that he brought with him. Ben wrote in his journal. Tyler played his phone.

Aiden, Ashlyn and Taylor are busy with their puzzles that Aiden gave them. Taylor have an infinity shaped puzzle while Aiden and Ashlyn are playing with their rubik's cubes.

Atlas was exhausted because of his hockey practice from yesterday and his eyes were becoming heavy and heavier as minutes passed, so he decided to take a nap.

Logan accidentally dropped his book because of the sudden bumpy road, letting out a yelp as his book fell which results to Atlas waking up.

Atlas groaned softly as he was accidentally woken up, running his fingers through his hair. "S-sorry! Did I woke you up?" Logan asked worriedly.

Atlas shook his head, "it's alright.." he said, putting both of his hands on his face as he yawned quietly. He realized that he's been leaning onto Logan side as he slept, he quickly sit up properly.

"How many hours do we have left?" Atlas asked the shorter male. "2 hours more" Logan answered after he checked his watch. "Are you gonna sleep again?" He questioned softly.

"No, I don't think so... I have a habit of hugging something while I was asleep, so..." Atlas said, followed with a soft chuckle.

Logan nodded, "ah, you know? You've been leaning against me the whole time while you slept.." He said, also letting out a chuckle.

"I know... your side must've been sore now. You could've woke me up.." Atlas said with an apologetic smile.

"No, it's fine, really. I don't mind, and it's not sore at all!" The shorter male exclaimed with a kind smile as he wave his hands.

"And you were reading the whole time?" "Mhm.."

"Really? What is it about anyways?" Atlas questioned curiously. "It's about planets, space and all." Logan answered, fiddling with his fingers.

"Can you tell me about it?" The tall black haired male requested, wanting to know more about the other male who's sitting next to him.

"Uh- yeah I can... d-do you want me to?"

"Of course." Atlas said with his usual soft smile.

Logan was left speechless, his face was turning into a light shade of red, he was surprised to hear someone actually wants to hear his rambling about the sky and stars.

"well i guess i should start with.." Logan began his rambling, the way Atlas were staring at him while he was talking and his quiet responses only made it even more difficult for him to maintain a proper conversation without stuttering or blushing so much.

"as you may know, i am a huge astronomy nerd, but there are quite a lot of things about the night sky and stars that people do not know about...."

"Mhm?" Atlas asked, urging the shorter male to continue.

"You see," Logan paused for a second before continuing.

"the stars and everything in space are constantly moving in a constant velocity at any given time, the night sky you see right now is just a projection of what it looked like hours, days and even years ago, as you may know.. the light you see from different stars are traveling for multiple years through space just to reach the eyes." He constantly glances at the tall black haired male to see if he's starting to get bored.

Though, Atlas actually seemed focused in everything Logan says, nodding his head or letting out a hum in response.

"there are roughly around 200 billion stars visible to the naked eye across our galaxy, a small percentage in comparison to the entire universe." Logan hoped to God that Atlas wouldn't find this boring. because he would ramble about this for hours if he could.

The shorter male ended up rambling for hours. Atlas didn't mind, though, he liked Logan's voice and he thought that his ramblings are cute.

"t-there's one star that people don't know about that is known as a twin star, which is-" his stuttering became more noticeable as his blushing intensified.

Anddd he continues

Logan started to explain about the various types of stars and how there were hundreds of billions of them. his voice seemed soft, gentle and passionate. he was so engaged in telling the stories he knew about the night sky and stars. it was almost like he was the personification of passion himself.

"well one of the most exciting things about the night sky and stars in my opinion is the fact that... when you are watching a meteor shower or even just looking at the night sky, we are technically watching something that happened years and years ago... all of the light from the stars and meteor showers that we see happened years ago—"

"We're finally here!" A student exclaimed, cutting off Logan.

All the students looked outside their windows.

"We're already here...?" Logan's eyes widened, that's when he realized, has he been ranting to Atlas the entire time? For two fucking hours straight????

"I know I was yapping alot, I- uh- I didn't mean to, Youmusthavebeenboredhearingmetalk,IjustgotcarriedawaytalkingaboutthestarsI'msosorry I'm sorry—"

His words stopped when Atlas waved his hand and assure him that he actually enjoys hearing him talk.

"Really..? You've been listening the whole time?" The dirty blonde haired boy questioned.

"Yeah? You were just talking about watching meteors shower, right?" Atlas said with his usual gentle smile.

"Um-  yeah.." The boy answered.
'He actually listened?'

"Can you invite me to watch meteor shower then if that happens?" The tall black haired male requested. "Of course!" Logan said, earning a soft chuckle from Atlas.
